Job summary

Aray Consulting LLP seeks a senior IT leader to drive strategic SAP S/4HANA SD/OTC and Settlement Management deployments across regions. You will oversee cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration with Non-SAP apps and real-time data exchanges with digital storefronts.

Responsibilities include ensuring robust testing, cutover execution, and a controlled hypercare phase, while aligning with AMS transition and governance practices. 15+ years in IT with CPG/retail exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of IT experience, with at least 10 years in senior IT management in Commercial Tech roles (CPG, FMCG, or Retail preferred).
• Proven lead on at least one major S/4HANA migration or rollout focusing on SD/OTC and commercial domains.
• Deep knowledge of Middleware, B2B EDI architectures using SAP Integration Suite, MuleSoft, etc.
• Strong mastery of CCM, customer rebates, accruals, and trade claims workflows.

• Lead integrations with Non-SAP Applications with regional App owners to ensure secure, zero-disruption transactions with partners.
• Ensure real-time data flows between S/4HANA and omnichannel storefronts for pricing, catalog data, and inventory visibility.
• Architect and integrate RGM/TPM apps with CCM and Settlement Management; automate promotional accruals and rebate settlements.

Job description

• Direct the strategic design, configuration, and multi-country deployment of SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution (SD/OTC) and Settlement Management processes, prioritising standard adoption and clean-core principles.
• Enterprise Integration Architecture: Lead and deliver the integrations with Non-SAP Applications along with the Integration teams and regional App owners,ensuring secure, zero-disruption transactions with retail partners, wholesalers, and third-party distributors.
• Omnichannel E-Commerce Synchronisation: Ensure seamless, real-time data flows (including pricing, catalogue master data, and inventory visibility) between S/4HANA and digital commerce storefronts, streamlining end-to-end order orchestration.
• Revenue Growth Management & Trade Spend Controls: Architect and integrate specialised RGM and TPM applications with SAP S/4HANA Condition Contract Management (CCM) and Settlement Management. Enforce automation of promotional accruals, claims validation, rebate settlements, and rapid resolution of retailer deductions.
• Program Lifecycle Governance (Testing, Cutover, Hypercare):
• Testing: Establish the master test strategy, supervising and signing off on SIT, UAT, performance, and regression testing in close alignment with key business stakeholders and the MDS Testing Lead.
• Cutover: Lead the execution of a detailed, dependency-driven Cutover Runbook, carefully managing strict business downtime windows, data reconciliation, and establishing solid rollback/contingency protocols.
• Hypercare: Direct the post-go-live War Room to resolve critical day-one incidents (pricing, invoicing, delivery blocks), and govern a smooth, structured transition to Application Managed Services (AMS).

Skills Required:

• Minimum of 15years of professional experience in IT, with at least 10 years in senior IT management in the Commercial Tech roles (CPG, FMCG, or Retail industry experience is highly preferred).
• Proven experience having successfully led at least one major, full-lifecycle global or regional S/4HANA migration or rollout (focusing on SD/OTC and commercial domains)
• Deep functional and technical understanding of Middleware, B2B EDI architectures using SAP Integration Suite, MuleSoft, etc.
• Solid mastery of S/4HANA Condition Contracts, customer rebates, automated accruals, and trade claims workflow processes.
• Proven history managing Steering Committees, Change Advisory Boards (CAB), configuration freezes, and utilising multi-tier global/regional rollout delivery models.
