CloudLabs Inc in India is seeking an experienced hands-on SAP S/4HANA SD/OTC & E-Invoicing Functional Lead. You will design, configure, test, and document functional deliverables, driving end-to-end OTC implementations and e-invoicing integrations.

The role requires strong knowledge of SAP SD/OTC, invoicing processes, and collaboration with ABAP and integration teams to deliver scalable solutions. This is a remote position based in India.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on SAP S/4HANA SD/OTC & E-Invoicing Functional Lead with strong expertise in solution design, configuration, implementation, testing, and documentation.

The candidate should have strong end-to-end SAP SD/OTC functional knowledge along with practical experience in SAP e-invoicing solutions, electronic document processing, and integration with external tax authorities and e-invoicing platforms.

This is a hands-on functional lead role, not a people-management role. The candidate must be capable of independently driving functional deliverables, performing system configuration, and collaborating with business and technical teams to implement scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

SAP S/4HANA SD / OTC

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA SD functional activities, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
• Independently perform hands-on SAP SD configuration across sales orders, pricing, deliveries, shipping, billing, returns, credit management, and related OTC processes.
• Conduct business requirement workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution design discussions.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, solution design documents, test scripts, and other project deliverables.
• Work closely with ABAP developers, architects, and cross-functional SAP teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Execute unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), regression testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Ensure seamless integration across SAP SD, FI, MM, EWM/WM, and other relevant modules.
• Support data migration, cutover planning, deployment, and post-implementation validation activities.

SAP E-Invoicing & Electronic Document Integration

• Lead functional design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP e-invoicing solutions within the S/4HANA landscape.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of e-invoicing processes, including electronic invoice generation, validation, submission, acknowledgment, cancellation, and rejection handling.
• Work on SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC)/eDocument Framework and related electronic invoicing capabilities.
• Configure and support integration between SAP SD billing documents, FI accounting documents, and e-invoicing solutions.
• Understand country-specific e-invoicing requirements, tax regulations, and statutory reporting obligations.
• Collaborate with integration teams to establish connectivity between SAP S/4HANA, middleware, third-party e-invoicing providers, and government tax authority platforms.
• Define functional requirements for electronic invoice formats, XML structures, field mappings, tax details, and country-specific validations.
• Work with ABAP and integration teams on enhancements, interfaces, custom developments, and functional specifications.
• Perform end-to-end testing of e-invoicing scenarios, including invoice creation, submission, acknowledgment, cancellation, credit/debit notes, and exception handling.
• Support e-invoicing solution rollouts across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed functional design documents, configuration documentation, integration specifications, and test scenarios for e-invoicing solutions.

Required Qualifications

SAP S/4HANA SD / OTC

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP SD/OTC functional experience, including strong SAP S/4HANA implementation experience.
• Proven experience as an SAP SD Functional Lead on end-to-end implementations, rollouts, or enhancement projects.
• Strong hands-on SAP SD configuration expertise, including sales document types, item categories, schedule lines, pricing procedures, output determination, shipping, billing, and copy controls.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end OTC processes, including sales orders, pricing, deliveries, billing, returns, and credit management.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA functionalities, including Business Partner integration, FSCM Credit Management, and SAP Fiori.
• Strong integration knowledge across SD-FI, SD-MM, SD-EWM/WM, and related business processes.

E-Invoicing

• Hands-on experience implementing and configuring SAP e-invoicing solutions in SAP S/4HANA.
• Good understanding of SAP DRC/eDocument Framework, electronic invoicing processes, and integration architecture.
• Experience integrating SAP billing and accounting documents with external e-invoicing platforms and tax authorities.
• Understanding of country-specific electronic invoicing requirements, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience with electronic invoice formats, XML mappings, interfaces, APIs, and middleware integration.
• Ability to independently analyze e-invoicing requirements, design solutions, prepare functional specifications, and execute end-to-end testing.
• Experience with invoice submission, acknowledgment, rejection, cancellation, and exception-handling processes.

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP configuration, solution design, functional specifications, testing, and documentation.

• Experience implementing e-invoicing solutions across multiple countries, particularly in LATAM, Europe, and other regulated markets.
• Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite/CPI and third-party e-invoicing platforms.
• Experience in global manufacturing, medical devices, or other regulated industries.
• Exposure to country-specific e-invoicing requirements such as Brazil NF-e, Mexico CFDI, and European e-invoicing frameworks.
