Job summary

Aray Consulting LLP is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Logistics Functional Lead (EWM & TM) to support a major transformation programme in India. You will map As-Is WM/TM processes and design migration paths to embedded EWM, while coordinating with 3PLs and ensuring data quality.

The candidate should have 12+ years relevant experience, MBA from a top-tier instituion, and track record of 2 full SAP implementations in WM/EWM/TM. Strong LBN/freight cargo exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of work experience in logistics/supply chain in FMCG.
• MBA from a Tier 1 institution such as NITIE, IIT Bombay, SP Jain, or equivalent.
• 8–12+ years SAP functional experience with WM, EWM, and TM.
• At least 2 full end-to-end SAP implementations in WM/EWM/TM.
• Hands-on EWM configuration and CWM to EWM migration experience preferred.
• Experience with Freight management and LBN integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead as-is process mapping for WM and TM across India sites and DCs.
• Design migration path from Centralised WM to Embedded S/4 EWM.
• Lead migration from SAP TMS to S/4 Advanced Transportation Management.
• Configure EWM core functionalities: warehouse structure, goods movement, RF/Fiori.
• Design freight collaboration using SAP LBN and manage master data quality.
• Coordinate with 3PLs and logistics service providers for system transitions.

Job description

Our client, a leading global FMCG organisation, is looking to engage an experienced SAP S/4HANA Logistics Functional Lead (EWM & TM) to support a major S/4HANA transformation programme in India.

Work Experience: 12+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead As-Is process mapping for Warehouse Management and Transportation Management across India sites and distribution centres
• Design migration path from Centralised WM (CWM) to Embedded S/4 EWM
• Lead migration from SAP TMS to S/4 Advanced Transportation Management
• Configure EWM core functionalities: warehouse structure, goods movement, inventory management, RF/Fiori transactions
• Design freight collaboration solution using SAP Logistics Business Network (LBN)
• Drive data quality assessment for logistics master data
• Coordinate with 3PL partners and logistics service providers for system transitions

Skills Required:

• MBA in Supply Chain / Operations from a Tier 1 B-School — NITIE / IIT Bombay / SP Jain / or other Tier I institutions
• Minimum 7–9 years of Logistics Operations experience in an FMCG organisation
• 8–12+ years of SAP functional experience with deep expertise in WM, EWM (Embedded and/or decentralised), and SAP TM
• At least 2 full end-to-end SAP implementations involving warehouse and/or transportation management workstreams
• Experience with CWM to EWM migration (Embedded EWM) strongly preferred
• Hands-on knowledge of EWM configuration: warehouse structure, goods movement, RF transactions, Handling Unit Management, Physical Inventory
• Proven experience with SAP Transportation Management — freight planning, execution, carrier collaboration, and freight settlement

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with SAP LBN (Logistics Business Network) for freight collaboration
• Knowledge of SAP Yard Management and dock scheduling
• Experience with RF/Barcode scanning and Fiori-based warehouse transactions
• Understanding of India logistics regulations and compliance requirements within the SAP context
• Exposure to SAP Activate methodology and agile delivery frameworks
