Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience in SAP implementations and support.

• Strong knowledge of OO ABAP concepts.
• Good understanding of clean core concepts and extensibility in S/4HANA.

Responsibilities

Job Title: SAP S/4 ABAP Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced S/4 ABAP Developer to design, develop, and support SAP S/4HANA technical solutions. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in ABAP, S/4HANA ABAP development, CDS Views, AMDP, object-oriented programming, and embedded S/4 BW OLAP query development. The ideal candidate should also understand clean core principles in S/4HANA and be able to build scalable, upgrade-friendly solutions aligned to SAP best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support custom SAP solutions in S/4HANA ABAP.
• Build and enhance CDS Views, AMDP, reports, enhancements, interfaces, and forms.
• Develop and maintain embedded BW / OLAP queries in S/4HANA for reporting and analytics.
• Apply object-oriented ABAP concepts to create reusable and maintainable technical components.
• Support data modelling and performance optimization for S/4HANA-native development.
• Ensure developments align with clean core principles, minimizing unnecessary customization and promoting extensibility.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and technical documentation.
• Support defect resolution, deployment activities, and post-go-live stabilization.

Required Skills and Experience

4 to 6 years of experience working in SAP Implementation and support projects.

• Strong experience in ABAP development.
• Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA ABAP.
• Expertise in CDS Views and AMDP.
• Experience in embedded S/4 BW OLAP query development.
• Strong knowledge of OOPS / object-oriented programming concepts in ABAP.
• Good understanding of clean core concepts and extensibility approaches in S/4HANA.
• Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and technical troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of Analysis for Office (AO).
• Experience with RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).
• Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI integration and OData services.
• Familiarity with SAP standard extensibility techniques and upgrade-safe development practices.
