Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services in Hyderabad, India, seeks an experienced SAP SuccessFactors EC and S/4HANA Payroll specialist to map data, configure integrations, and support replication between Employee Central and S/4HANA Payroll.

You will lead testing, document specifications, and collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams, implementing BADIs and CPI-based integrations to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP HCM/S/4HANA Payroll.
• Experience delivering or supporting EC-to-S/4HANA Payroll replication.
• Strong understanding of Employee Central data model, Employment and job information, Effective-dated transactions, Employee Central business rules and workflows, SAP HCM personnel administration, Infotypes and personnel actions, Organizational management, Payroll-relevant master data, Cost center and organizational assignment.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite/CPI or comparable SAP integration tooling.
• SAP ABAP Hands-on coding to update or implement BADIs or S/4HANA enhancements.
• Experience troubleshooting interfaces, replication queues, middleware messages, and payroll master-data errors.
• Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle events and their downstream payroll impact.
• Experience creating functional specifications, mapping documents, and test scenarios.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support SuccessFactors EC to SAP S/4HANA Payroll replication.
• Update configurations and validate replication of data such as personal, employment, organizational, compensation, and payroll-related information.
• Map EC data to SAP HCM and S/4HANA Payroll structures.
• Configure and monitor middleware integrations using SAP Integration Suite/CPI or similar frameworks.
• Implement or update BADIs to support business requirements.
• Analyze replication errors, interface failures, data inconsistencies, and rejected employee records.
• Lead root-cause analysis across EC, middleware, and S/4HANA Payroll.
• Validate data after replication into S/4HANA and support payroll-relevant integration.
• Define technical specifications for enhancements, mappings, validations, and error-handling processes.
• Lead various testing cycles (unit, integration, regression, parallel, UAT, payroll validation).
• Perform data reconciliation between EC and S/4HANA Payroll.
• Support production incident resolution.
• Maintain configuration workbooks, mapping documents, interface specs, test scripts, and support procedures.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Integration, Security, and technical teams.

• Support SuccessFactors Employee Central to SAP S/4HANA Payroll replication.
• Update configurations and validate replication of:
• Personal and biographical data
• Employment and job information
• Organizational assignments
• Compensation and pay components
• Work schedules and time-related data
• Bank, tax, benefits, and payroll-relevant information
• Hire, rehire, transfer, promotion, termination, and organizational-change events
• Map Employee Central data to SAP HCM and S/4HANA Payroll structures, including relevant infotypes, personnel actions, wage types, organizational objects, and cost centers.
• Configure and monitor middleware integrations using SAP Integration Suite/CPI or the applicable integration framework.
• Implement or Update Business Add-ins (BADIs) to support business requirements.
• Analyze replication errors, interface failures, data inconsistencies, and rejected employee records.
• Lead root-cause analysis across Employee Central, middleware, and S/4HANA Payroll.
