Job summary

Protiviti India in Gurugram is seeking an SAP PS - Project System consultant to participate in design, build and testing of PS and related activities. You will identify customer needs, propose best-fit solutions and assist in the implementation and support of SAP PS solutions.

The role requires strong PS configuration knowledge, multi-currency project handling and end-to-end PS experience across industries, with collaboration across CO, FI, MM, AM and PP modules.

Qualifications

• At least 2 end-to-end SAP PS implementations in different domains.
• Strong PS configuration knowledge: WBS, Network, Milestone, Cost Planning, Budgeting.
• Experience with multi currency base project scenario across countries.
• Full PS module cycle from project creation to settlement.
• Integration with CO, FI, MM, AM and PP.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in design, build and testing of PS and PS related activities.

• Assist clients in the implementation and support of SAP PS solutions.
• Provide high-quality client service and suggest process improvements and enhancements.
• Prepare BRD/BPP/FS/SIT/UAT/User Manuals etc.
• Coordinate with business process owners to validate changes to processes and recommend best practices in project management.
• Manage incidents, change requests and enhancements to meet requirements.
• Support pre-sales activities including RFP responses, client demos and POC development.
• Provide consulting services on new implementations and existing support projects.
• Coordinate on-time project deliverables with functional and technical teams (MM, FICO, ABAP, HCM, BASIS).

SAP PS - Project System

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in design, build and testing of PS and PS related activities.
• Identify, understand and define customer needs, objectives and business requirements in order to propose solutions that can best meet their requirements.
• Assists clients in the implementation and support of the SAP PS solutions.
• Provide high-quality client service, working directly with our clients to understand business requirements and provide industry best practice solution to the client. Make recommendations for ongoing process improvements and enhancements
• Prepare documents BRD/BPP/FS/SIT/UAT/User Manuals Etc.
• Responsible for production support and enhancement activities and a liaison with business process owners to validate requirements for changes to processes and recommend best practices in project management.
• Analyzing incidents, work on Change requests, Enhancements and provide appropriate solutions to meet business requirements.
• Support pre-sales activities , which includes responding RFP’s, Attending client orals , Conduct Product demos and develop POC’s Etc.
• Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects.
• Should manage on-time project deliverables by coordinating with functional and technical teams (MM, FICO, ABAP,HCM,BASIS Etc)

Desired Profile

• SAP PS Implementation Experience : At least 2 End to End Implementation experience in different domains – Manufacture, Civil or Any other Industry.
• Good Configuration knowledge of PS structures : WBS, Network, Milestone, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Material Requirement Planning, Project Quotation, Goods Issues, and other project management activities.
• Should have done SAP PS implementation (Requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, system configuration & customization, cutover, Go-live, etc.)
• Should have knowledge to handle multi currency Base project scenario(with multiple countries)
• Experience on complete PS module cycle from project creation to settlement.
• Integration knowledge with CO,FI,AM and MM,SD and PP.
• Defect analysis and issue resolution of support incidents and must be proficient in handling issue/support incidents.
• Conducts user requirements gathering, blueprinting and documentation designs. Follow best practices and SAP functionalities in system.
• Well versed with Investment Management.
• Complete knowledge in budget(Capex and Opex, Annual and Overall) management of project.
• Good exposure to Workflows, BAPI and BADI in PS.
• Well versed with project life cycle of Capex Project.
