Bosch Group in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide transformations, including new implementations and global rollouts. You will collaborate with executive sponsors, business process owners, and technical teams to ensure scope, design, and deployment are on time and within budget.

The role requires 10+ years in IT/SAP, strong leadership, and proven success delivering global SAP S/4HANA programs.

Job Description

Job Summary:

The SAP S/4HANA Project Manager plays a critical role in leading, orchestrating, and successfully delivering enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA transformation projects (including new implementations and global rollouts) to support Bosch Mobility Aftermarket’s strategic business goals. This individual collaborates closely with executive steering committee, cross-functional business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure the seamless execution of all project phases—from scoping and design through to cutover and hyper-care—delivering robust, scalable solutions on time and within budget.

• Project Planning & Scoping: Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and master project plans in partnership with solution architects and business stakeholders.
• Methodology Execution: Apply the SAP Activate Methodology across all phases—Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run.
• Resource & Budget Management: Acquire & allocate cross-functional project resources, manage budgets, track operational costs, and control project burn rates.
• Risk & Issue Mitigation: Maintain and monitor risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies and resolving bottlenecks before they impact project delivery.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate governance meetings, steering committee updates, and clear communication loops between executive leadership, business process owners, and technical teams.
• Quality Gate Management: Oversee quality assurance criteria, system testing phases (system integration tests and user acceptance tests), and sign-offs across key Quality Gates using tools like SAP Solution Manager or ALM.
• Cutover & Go-Live Strategy: Coordinate detailed cutover plans, data migration tasks, hyper-care support transition, and post-go-live issue resolution.
• People Management:Strong people management skills to steer the project team towards successful results.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 10+ years of overall IT/SAP ecosystem experience.
  • Minimum of 3–5 full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation or rollout projects managed in a leadership capacity.
  • Experience in leading global SAP S/4 HANA implementations.
• Certifications (Preferred):
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • SAP Activate Project Manager Certification
  • Agile & Scrum methodology
• Technical Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of core SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FICO, EWM, PP) and technical architecture associated with S/4HANA.
• Tool Proficiency: Experience with OTALM, SAP Solution Manager, JIRA, Power BI, SAP BTP
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, conflict resolution, change management, and executive-level communication abilities, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in global SAP S/4 HANA implementations.
