Job summary

Sydler Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager AMS to lead SAP Application Management Services (AMS) projects in Pune. The role focuses on managing SAP support operations, customer relationships, SLAs, and cross-functional SAP teams for delivery excellence.

Ideal candidates have extensive SAP AMS/Support project experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with ITIL processes. On-site Pune work mode is required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of SAP experience, with strong SAP AMS/Support background.
• 8+ years in SAP Project/Service Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end SAP AMS/support projects and ensure timely, quality delivery.
• Lead cross-functional SAP teams across functional and technical modules.
• Act as primary client contact and manage stakeholder communication.
• Monitor SLA, KPI, ticket volumes, response/resolution times, and service quality.
• Manage incidents, service requests, escalations, and critical production issues.
• Conduct regular service review meetings and prepare MIS/status reports.
• Coordinate with SAP teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Manage risks, dependencies, resources and escalations; ensure ITIL/service management adherence.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance AMS efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee team performance, utilization and resource planning.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to manage and deliver SAP Application Management Services (AMS) projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in managing SAP support operations, customer relationships, SLAs, and cross-functional SAP teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end SAP AMS/support projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Lead and manage cross-functional SAP teams across functional and technical modules.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall experience in SAP, with strong experience in SAP AMS/Support projects.
• 8+ years of experience in SAP Project/Service Management.
• Strong understanding of SAP functional and technical landscapes.
• Experience managing multiple SAP modules/teams in an AMS environment.
• Strong knowledge of SLA, KPI, Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management.
• Excellent client handling and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira or other ITSM platforms is preferred.
• SAP/ITIL certification will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in managing large SAP AMS engagements.
• Exposure to SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Experience handling critical production issues and escalations.
• Experience working with offshore/onshore teams.
• Experience in transition, stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Location: Pune

Candidates who are comfortable working from Pune and have strong SAP AMS Project Management experience are preferred.
