Job summary

Thoucentric is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager in Bengaluru to lead end-to-end SAP implementations, upgrades, and support projects. You will manage cross-functional teams, coordinate with senior stakeholders, and ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of SAP project management experience, strong leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with PMP/SAP Activate preferred. This hybrid role requires travel up to 30% and is based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in IT/CS/Business Administration or related field.
• 4+ years of SAP project management experience with at least 3 full-cycle implementations.
• Familiarity with SAP modules and integration points and project governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP implementation, migration, and upgrade projects across modules.
• Define scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables aligned to business goals.
• Ensure SAP best practices and methodologies (ASAP, Activate).
• Act as liaison between business, IT, and external vendors.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional project teams; allocate resources.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation; ensure QA and compliance.
• Manage project budgets and monitor expenditures for cost control.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager with 4+ years of expertise in managing end-to-end SAP implementations,upgrades, and support projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven trackrecord of delivering complex SAP projects on time, within scope, and budget,while leading cross-functional teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• ProjectLeadership & Delivery
• LeadSAP implementation, migration, and upgrade projects across modules(FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, etc.).
• Defineproject scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in alignment withbusiness goals.
• Ensureadherence to SAP best practices and methodologies (e.g., ASAP, Activate).
• StakeholderManagement
• Actas the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, andexternal vendors.
• Conductregular status meetings, provide updates, and manage expectations at allorganizational levels.
• TeamManagement
• Leadand mentor cross-functional project teams including consultants,developers, and business analysts.
• Allocateresources effectively and resolve conflicts to maintain project momentum.
• Risk& Quality Management
• Identifypotential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensurequality assurance through testing, validation, and compliance withorganizational standards.
• Budget& Resource Control
• Manageproject budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’sdegree in Information Technology, Computer Science, BusinessAdministration, or related field.
• 4+years of experience in SAP project management with at least 3full-cycle implementations.
• Strongknowledge of SAP modules and integration points.
• Excellentcommunication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP/ PRINCE2 / SAP Activate certification preferred.
