Thoucentric Technology Private Limited is seeking an SAP SD Solution Architect to design, govern, and deliver scalable Order-to-Cash solutions with a focus on custom development and enhancements across SAP ECC and S/4HANA.

The role requires 8–10 years of SAP SD experience, strong ABAP collaboration, and expertise in integration patterns. The position is based in Bengaluru with hybrid work mode and will involve leading SD developments and architectural oversight.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own solution architecture for SAP SD across development-heavy implementations and enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into technical-functional designs, balancing standard SAP with custom-built solutions.
• Design and govern SD-related developments, including pricing logic and user exits.
• Lead functional specification design and work with ABAP teams on RICEFW objects.
• Define S/4HANA extensibility strategy for SD, including in-app vs side-by-side.
• Drive integration design with FI, MM, TM, EWM, third-party systems, and CRM.
• Lead SIT/UAT cycles, defect triage, and performance tuning.

Job Description – SAP SD Solution Architect (8–10 Years)

Role Summary
The SAP SD Solution Architect will design, govern, and deliver scalableOrder-to-Cash solutions with a strong focus on custom development,extensibility, and enhancement-driven programs across SAP ECC and S/4HANA. Therole blends deep SD functional knowledge with hands-on experience in RICEFW,integration patterns, and clean-core–aligned customizations.

This role is suited for programs where SD is not“configured once and forgotten,” but continuously evolved through new features,CRs, and productized enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Ownsolution architecture for SAP SD across development-heavy implementationand enhancement programs
  
• Translatebusiness requirements into technical-functional designs, balancingstandard SAP with custom-built solutions
  
• Designand govern SD-related developments, including:
  
• Custompricing logic, user exits, BADIs, and enhancements
  
• Leadfunctional specification design and work closely with ABAP teams on:
  
• RICEFWobjects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms,Workflows)
  
• CDSviews and OData services for SD data exposure
  
• Fioriapps and custom UI extensions
  
• DefineS/4HANA extensibility strategy for SD:
  
• In-appvs side-by-side extensions
  
• CleanCore–aligned custom developments
  
• Useof BTP / CPI where applicable
  
• Driveintegration design with:
  
• FI(revenue recognition, billing accounting)
  
• MM,TM, EWM, third-party systems (3PL, tax engines, CRM)
  
• Reviewcode impact from a functional standpoint and participate in design andpeer reviews
  
• LeadSIT/UAT cycles for development objects, including defect triage andperformance tuning
  
• Supportongoing enhancements, CR estimation, and backlog prioritization in Agiledelivery models
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–10years of SAP SD experience with strong exposure to development-heavyprojects
  
• Hands-onexperience working with ABAP teams on enhancements and custom builds
