Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services in Pune, India, is seeking a senior SAP Procure-to-Pay consultant to support the P2P workstream across Purchasing, AP, and supplier integration. You will help design and implement end-to-end P2P processes and drive a standardized approach aligned to business objectives.

The ideal candidate has extensive SAP ECC/Ariba experience, strong English communication, and the ability to coordinate with global teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong SAP ECC ERP knowledge and experience with Ariba and P2P processes.
• Business-fluent English; German or Italian a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP Procure-to-Pay workstream across Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and supplier integration.
• Support and execute P2P strategy and roadmap aligned to business objectives.
• Analyze, design, and implement end-to-end P2P processes (requisition PO goods receipt invoice payment).
• Analyze requirements and support enhancements across P2P lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Managed Services and business users to ensure SLA adherence.
• Ensure compliance with global IT controls and SoD and vendor validation.
• Develop process documentation, integration design, and training materials.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement efficiency and cash conversion cycle.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Support the SAP Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workstream, including functional activities across Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and supplier integration
• Support and execute P2P strategy and roadmap (SAP ECC, Ariba, automation, standardization) aligned to business objectives
• Analyze, design, and implement end-to-end P2P processes (requisition PO goods receipt invoice payment)
• Analyze business requirements and support delivery of enhancements across the P2P lifecycle
• Support M&A integrations and footprint optimization, including vendor harmonization and procurement consolidation
• Optimize SAP ECC and integrated platforms (Ariba/EDI) to enable efficient procurement, supplier collaboration, and invoice automation
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement efficiency, invoice cycle times, 3-way match accuracy, and working capital (GR/IR, payment terms)
• Standardize P2P processes and controls across plants using Yokoten, including vendor master governance and invoice processing controls
• Develop process documentation, integration design, and training materials aligned to global templates
• Support the Key User model, including training, knowledge transfer, and alignment on ticket prioritization
• Coordinate with Managed Services and business users to ensure SLA adherence and efficient issue resolution
• Support P2P initiatives including Ariba deployments, supplier integrations (EDI/API), and global rollouts
• Ensure compliance with global IT controls, financial audits, and P2P-specific controls (SoD, vendor validation, invoice approvals)
• Maintain secure, compliant, and up-to-date environments, including vendor and payment governance
• Drive cross-functional alignment across procurement, finance (AP), supply chain, and IT, and coordinate with external suppliers and partners

Preferred candidate profile

Educational Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
• Strong SAP ECC ERP knowledge and understanding
• Business-fluent English; additional languages a plus (German, Italian)
