Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced SAP MM consultant to engage with clients, design solutions, and drive deployments in Bengaluru. The role requires strong client interfacing, solution design contributions, and team mentoring to deliver high-value SAP MM projects.

Responsibilities include configuring SAP MM, leading CRPs, and aligning effort estimates with customer budgets, while staying updated on industry trends and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology mandatory.
• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading teams of 5–7 members.
• SAP MM functional expertise with ARIBA and SCM preferred.
• Experience with S/4 HANA upgrade projects (Greenfield/Brownfield).

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers to diagnose issues, design innovative SAP MM solutions, and enable successful deployments.
• Take ownership of portions of proposal documents and contribute to solution design.
• Configure SAP MM based on design specs, conduct conference room pilots (CRPs), and assist in resolving queries related to requirements and solutions.
• Conduct solution/product demonstrations, Proof of Technology (POC) workshops, and prepare accurate effort estimates aligned with customer budgets and organizational guidelines.
• Lead small projects and contribute to organizational initiatives to deliver high-value solutions.
• Interface with clients and manage project and team activities effectively to ensure success.
• Ability to develop business value-creating strategies enabling client innovation, growth, and profitability.
• Familiarity with software configuration management systems.
• Awareness of latest technologies and industry trends.
• Logical, analytical, and problem-solving mindset with excellent collaboration skills.
• Understanding of financial processes related to projects and diverse pricing models.
• Experience in assessing current business processes and recommending technological improvements.
• Domain knowledge in at least one or two industry sectors.

Additional Responsibilities

• Experience Educational Requirements: Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with experience managing teams of 5-7 members.
• Preferred Skills: SAP Functional: SAP MM, ARIBA, SCM, Workflow.
• Experience with S4 HANA Upgrade projects (both Greenfield and Brownfield).

Technical and Professional Requirements

• Configuration of organizational structure, master data, Business partner, purchasing, pricing, account determination, PR/PO release strategy, outputs forms.
• Inventory management, logistic invoice verification, and physical inventory processes.
• Designing and deploying special procurement scenarios such as subcontracting, stock transport orders, and consignment processes.
• Strong integration knowledge with SAP SD and FI modules.
• Experience in designing interfaces involving both SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Ability to lead workshops, gather and map business requirements, and propose process/system enhancements.
• Act as communication bridge between business and technical teams.
