Job summary

NTT DATA in Hyderabad, India, seeks an SAP PP/QM specialist to join our team and manage plant-migration tasks within the SAP PP and QM domains. You will work to confirm all necessary SPRO configuration is in place for the new plant and ensure data integrity across manufacturing processes.

You will convert plant-specific master data, review custom functionality, test scenarios, and support the go-live for the new plant, contributing to a smooth production startup and ongoing post-launch

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP PP and QM configuration in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to convert plant-specific master data (BOMs, work centers, task lists) to new plant codes.
• Familiarity with testing scenarios and go-live activities in SAP landscapes.

Responsibilities

• Configure/validate PP/QM processes for the new plant.
• Migrate plant-specific master data (BOM, Work Centers, Task Lists) to the new plant.
• Review custom functionality for hard-coded values and adjust accordingly.
• Execute test scenarios and ensure manufacturing functionality works for the new plant.
• Support go-live activities and post-go-live stabilization.

We are currently seeking a SAP PP/QM to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana (IN-TG), India (IN).

PP/QM

Confirm all necessary Mfg. SPRO configuration is in place for the new plant.

• Update MFG Z tables with new plant codes.
• Must convert the plant specific Mfg. master data such as BOM’s, Work Center/Resources, Task Lists (Rate Routings/Master Recipes/Inspection Plans), Production Versions, Functional Locations, etc. to the new plant number.
• Review any custom/configured functionality for hard coded values.
• Update custom plant specific functionality for new plant. Example, process order COR6 confirmation parameters.
• Update jobs & variants with plant specific settings for background jobs in PP and QM.
• Review and test QM outputs & forms for new plant/cc codes.
• Execute test scenarios for the new plant/cc codes ensuring mfg. functionality works.
• Go-Live: Close out transactional data such as process orders, inspection lots in old plant.
• Go-Live: Create new transactional data such as process orders.
• Go-Live: Ensure raw material inventory is in place.
• Go-Live: Decide on plant specific batch classification and update if necessary. Business Decision.
