Job summary

Acesoft Labs in Bangalore is seeking an SAP PP/Logistics Functional Consultant with 6–9 years of experience to join our ERP practice. You will drive MRP, BOM, routing, capacity planning, and production order processing across MTS and MTO environments, including S/4HANA MRP Live configuration.

The role involves hands-on PP/MM configuration, integration with non-SAP shop floor systems, and troubleshooting interfaces (IDOCS, SAP PI, file-based).

Qualifications

• PP/MM functional consultant with strong hands-on experience across multiple implementations.
• Expertise in Production Planning: MRP, GR processing, production versions, serial number profiles, and planning calendars.
• Experience with MTS and MTO order processing and in-house processing time.
• S4/HANA experience, MRPLive activation and configuration.
• BOM, routing, rate routings, work centers, capacity planning and CAPP calculations.
• PP Variant Configuration and material master classifications.
• Interface experience with shop floor systems and non-SAP interfaces (file-based, SQL, SFTP, IDOCS).

Mandatory Skills:-

• PP/MM functional consultant in multiple implementations, Production Support and Enhancement projects for Manufacturing, Automotive and other Discrete/Repetitive Production Industries.

• Must have expertise in Configuration of Production Planning area such as MRP , GR Processing, Production Versions, Serial Number Profiles, In House Processing Time, Planning Calendars, both MTS ( Make to Stock) / MTO ( Make to Order ) Order Processing.

• Must have experience with Setup of Repetitive Manufacturing Process of Planning Table, REM Confirmation Process, Post Processing Records.

• Must have atealst one recent experience with S4 HANA particularly with activation of MRP Live and its configuration.

• Strong expertise with Bill of Material, Alternate BOMs, Routing, Rate Routings, Work Centers, Capacity Planning, CAPP Calculations.

• Expertise in PP Variant Configuration Process, Classes, Characteristics and Classification tab of Material Master.

• Hands on experience in integration with Non SAP Shop Floor Systems where Production Orders and Planned orders are processed.

• Proven experience troubleshooting the interfaces like File based, SQL or SFTP or SAP PI or IDOCS for Production Planning Interfaces in integration with Shop Floor systems.

• Experience with Non SAP Systems for Master Data, MES Shop Floor System, Financial Records processing.
