Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced SAP APO Production Planning specialist to join the SCM practice. The role expects deep hands-on work with MRP, PPDS configurations, and integration with MM, EWM, and QM to optimize planning and execution across production networks.

The candidate will contribute to master data modeling for work centers, production versions, and PDS, and implement SAP SCM initiatives, leveraging ECC and CIF interfaces for seamless data flows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in APO Production Planning.
• Experience with MRP configurations and PPDS.
• Hands-on with master data for work centers, resources and production versions.
• Materials planning using SAP MRP and LTP.
• Integration of SAP PP with MM, EWM and QM.
• Knowledge of SCM integration within SAP ERP and related modules.

Responsibilities

• Configure MRP and PPDS components including planning boards and alerts.
• Work with master data for work centers, BOMs, routings and production versions.
• Plan production orders/planned orders and ensure accurate MRP.
• Coordinate SAP PP integration with MM, EWM and QM.
• Participate in SAP SCM initiatives and data interfaces (CIF).

Education: Minimum 15 years of full time education (10th, 12th and Graduation)

Job Description:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in APO Production Planning.
• Specifically, MRP, Configurations like planning board, DS board, Different profiles, PPDS Subcontracting process, Alerts configuration & monitoring.
• Knowledge and experience of master data distribution of work centers / Resources, production versions, PPMs, PDS, capacities, Time-streams, CIF-ing between ECC and APO.
• Knowledge of working on Production orders/Planned orders, Material Master, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Production Version. Material Planning using SAP MRP and LTP.
• Integration of SAP PP with Material Management, EWM, and QM.
• Good knowledge of SCM Integration with SAP ERP & overview of other related modules.
• Specifically, MRP, Configurations like planning board, DS board, Different profiles, PPDS Subcontracting process, Alerts configuration & monitoring.
• Knowledge of working on Production orders/Planned orders, Material Master, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Production Version. Material Planning using SAP MRP and LTP.
• Should be familiar with Integration of SAP PP with Material Management, WM and QM. Perform custom & standard configurations in SAP system to satisfy business requirements.
• Experience in SAP Supply Chain Planning product implementation, Sales and Operations planning application, Demand Planning & Response and Supply
• Good knowledge of SCM Integration with SAP ERP & overview of other related modules.
