Job summary

Capgemini in Gandhinagar, India seeks an experienced SAP PP Lead to drive end-to-end implementations, upgrades and support across production planning modules. You will gather requirements, design processes, and work with MM, SD, QM, PM, EWM and FICO teams to ensure successful deployment.

The role includes mentoring a team of SAP consultants, delivering project milestones, and preparing functional specifications for enhancements and interfaces.

Qualifications

• Lead end-to-end SAP PP implementations, rollouts, upgrades and support projects.
• Gather and analyze business requirements related to production planning and manufacturing processes.
• Configure SAP PP modules including MRP, Production Orders, Demand Management, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Control, Master Data Management, Batch Management.
• Design and optimize production planning and scheduling processes.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend SAP best practices.
• Prepare functional specifications for developments, enhancements, interfaces, and reports.
• Support testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of SAP consultants and analysts.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to team members.
• Manage project deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including MM, SD, QM, PM, EWM, and FICO.
• Act as the primary point of contact for PP-related issues and escalations.
