Job summary

Forward Eye Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP PI/PO Consultant to design, develop, and maintain integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems. You will build, configure, and troubleshoot integration scenarios.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure seamless data exchange, create detailed technical documentation, and support PI upgrades and patch management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP PI/PO integration experience.
• Experience building A2A and B2B integration scenarios.
• Strong knowledge of SOAP, REST, JMS, HTTP(s), IDoc, RFC, and FTP.
• Mapping expertise: Graphical, Java, and XSLT.
• Experience with SAP PI adapters: JDBC, File/FTP, SOAP, REST.
• Familiarity with Integration Directory and ESR.
• Monitoring, security handling, and certificate management.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking an experienced SAP PI (Process Integration) Consultant to design, develop, and maintain integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP PI/PO, including building, configuring, and troubleshooting integration scenarios. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data and processes across systems.

Key Responsibilities

• - Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using SAP Process Integration (PI/PO) to connect SAP and non-SAP systems.
• - Configure and maintain Integration scenarios such as A2A (Application to Application) and B2B (Business to Business) processes.
• - Work with different protocols including SOAP, HTTP(s), JMS, FTP, IDoc, and RFC.
• - Develop and troubleshoot integration mappings using Graphical Mapping, Java Mapping, and XSLT Mapping.
• - Set up and configure communication channels, adapters (e.g., JDBC, File/FTP, SOAP, REST), and message flows in SAP PI.
• - Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize interface performance, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
• - Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical integration designs.
• - Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for interfaces and integration processes.
• - Ensure adherence to integration best practices, policies, and data security standards.
• - Manage and optimize alerting mechanisms to detect issues in real-time and ensure timely issue resolution.
• - Assist in PI system upgrades and support patch management.
• - Provide post-go-live support, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of existing interfaces.

Required Qualifications

• - 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PI/PO integration.
• - Experience in developing and configuring integration scenarios for A2A and B2B processes.
• - Strong knowledge of different communication protocols such as SOAP, REST, JMS, HTTP(s), IDoc, RFC, and FTP.
• - Expertise in message mappings (Graphical, Java, and XSLT) for transforming and routing data between systems.
• - Experience with SAP PI adapters like JDBC, File/FTP, SOAP, REST, and others.
• - Familiarity with Integration Directory and Enterprise Services Repository in SAP PI.
• - Ability to monitor and troubleshoot integration processes using SAP PI monitoring tools.
• - Experience with interface security and handling certificates for secure communication.
• - Strong understanding of data structures (XML, XSD, IDoc, EDI, etc.) and how they are integrated in SAP PI.
• - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• - Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with business users and technical teams.

Preferred Skills

• - Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) or SAP Process Orchestration (PO).
• - Familiarity with SAP PI alerts and monitoring tools for real-time error detection and troubleshooting.
• - Knowledge of SAP ABAP to assist in debugging and troubleshooting related to PI interfaces.
• - Exposure to S/4HANA integration scenarios.
