Job summary

Mindsprint Pte. Ltd. in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, seeks an experienced SAP MM Consultant/SME with 15+ years of hands-on expertise, including S/4HANA migration projects. You will own solution architecture, lead workshops, and drive procurement and inventory management processes.

You'll collaborate with global teams, deliver four full lifecycle SAP MM implementations, and develop new IP leveraging SAP BTP and AI. Strong RFP, data migration, and post go-live support experience are required.

Qualifications

Job Description:

• Managing solution architecture, pre-sales, and capability development, including managing asset and intellectual property (IP) creation, as well as overseeing training and proficiency development for team members within their respective skill areas.
• Independently lead solution and proficiently demonstrate workshops.
• Lead and actively participate in at least four full-lifecycle SAP MM implementations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP processes.
• Demonstrate proficiency in configuring and optimizing SAP MM within the S/4HANA environment.
• Provide overall architectural guidance in the areas of procurement and inventory management.
• Design and develop new solution extensions based on customer requirements.
• Explore innovative approaches to enhance SAP MM processes and improve overall operational efficiency.

Profile Description:

• A minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience as an SAP MM Consultant/SME, with exposure to S/4HANA implementation and migration projects, is mandatory.
• Strong experience integrating SAP MM with modules such as SAP FI, SAP WM, SAP CO, SAP SD, and SAP PM (Plant Maintenance).
• Domain experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management will be an added advantage.
• Ability to conceptualize and drive the development of new IP using SAP BTP, AI, and related technologies.
• Candidates with comprehensive experience in SAP MM and a strong understanding of various procurement processes, split valuation, inventory management, and integration with SAP Ariba or third-party systems will be preferred.
• Candidates must be highly hands-on and willing to actively engage in technical and functional problem-solving.
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting entries is mandatory.
• Experience designing Business Process Master Lists (BPMLs) for global business processes will be an added advantage.
• A demonstrable track record of implementation, post-implementation support, and go-live support in SAP MM is required.
• Experience in analysis, design, configuration, development, testing, planning and execution, and data conversion is required.
• A demonstrable track record of managing complex business processes during data migration and project cutover phases is required.
• Ability to manage senior stakeholders and deliver value-driven solutions.
• Experience handling Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in SAP MM, including developing compelling solutions, estimating effort, and preparing commercial proposals, is required. Candidates should be familiar with various effort-estimation techniques and be able to select appropriate methods based on customer requirements.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations, particularly when developing solution proposals.
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA MM, Fiori apps, and new procurement functionalities is required.
• Exposure to Warehouse Management (WM), Handling Unit Management (HUM), and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is desirable.
• Certifications: SAP certifications, such as SAP MM and SAP S/4HANA, are preferred.
• Demonstrated use of AI in project delivery will be an added advantage.
