Job summary

NTT DATA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS in Mumbai is seeking an experienced SAP MM - S/4HANA Public Cloud Consultant to configure, implement, test, and support procure-to-pay processes. You will work with procurement, inventory, and finance teams to deliver standardized solutions aligned with SAP Best Practices.

The ideal candidate has 4–8 years of hands-on SAP MM experience, strong functional knowledge of S/4HANA MM, and end-to-end implementation exposure, including Public Cloud configurations and workshop

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, IT or related field.
• 4-8 years of relevant SAP consulting experience with hands-on SAP MM experience.
• Strong functional knowledge and configuration experience in SAP S/4HANA MM.
• At least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation experience.
• Experience with fit-to-standard workshops, SAP Best Practices, scope items, and Public Cloud configuration processes.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP S/4HANA MM implementation, rollout, enhancement, and production support activities.
• Participate in workshops, requirement gathering, fit-to-standard discussions, demonstrations, and end-user training.
• Analyze procurement and inventory management processes and map requirements to standard SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud capabilities and SAP Best Practices.

Role Summary

The SAP S/4HANA MM Consultant L2 will configure, implement, test, and support SAP Materials Management solutions, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. The consultant will work with client procurement, inventory, and finance teams to deliver standardized, efficient, and business-aligned procure-to-pay processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support SAP S/4HANA MM implementation, rollout, enhancement, and production support activities.
• Participate in customer workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, fit-to-standard discussions, solution demonstrations, and end-user training.
• Analyze procurement and inventory management processes and map requirements to standard SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud capabilities and SAP Best Practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4-8 years of relevant SAP consulting experience, including hands-on SAP MM experience.
• Strong functional knowledge and configuration experience in SAP S/4HANA MM.
• At least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation experience.
• Experience with fit-to-standard workshops, SAP Best Practices, scope items, and Public Cloud configuration processes.
• Strong knowledge of procure-to-pay, inventory management, purchasing, invoice verification, and material valuation processes.
• Knowledge of SAP MM integration with FI/CO, SD, PP, EWM, QM, and relevant third-party systems.
• Experience in material master, supplier/business partner, purchasing, and inventory data migration and validation.
• Experience with testing, defect analysis, issue tracking, cutover, go-live, and hypercare support.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications, embedded analytics, and standard reports for procurement and inventory management.
• Understanding of SAP Activate methodology and the SAP project implementation lifecycle.
• Ability to create clear functional specifications, test scenarios, and process documentation.
• Strong customer-facing, communication, stakeholder-management, and delivery capabilities.
• Ability to independently manage assigned tasks, prioritize deliverables, and proactively escalte risks or dependencies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• SAP certification in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Sourcing and Procurement.
• Experience with SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC).
• Knowledge of SAP Ariba, SAP Business Network, SAP EWM, SAP IBP, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Experience with procurement approval workflows and SAP Build Process Automation.
• Exposure to multi-company, multi-plant, or global supply chain transformation programs.
• Knowledge of local procurement compliance, indirect tax, and audit requirements.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid project delivery environments.
