Job summary

Brose Fahrzeugteile GmbH & Co. KG in Pune seeks a senior SAP PLM professional to manage BOMs, routing data and lifecycle status in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure accurate material masters and production versions, while maintaining revision controls and change-requests in SAP. The role requires 6–8 years in production, logistics or controlling, a Bachelor of Engineering and hands-on experience with SMT and PCBA processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering degree with relevant specialization.
• 6–8 years of work experience in production/logistics/controlling.
• Hands-on experience with SAP PLM, SMT processes and PCBA processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product routing data in SAP is up to date with ongoing changes.
• Manage BOM for electronics and ensure BOM readiness for manufacturing, assembly process, enable correct backflush of parts for stock management.
• Maintain correct part numbers, package types, footprints, quantities, reference designators, and alternates.
• Monitor and maintain product lifecycle status.
• Manage Engineering Change Requests in SAP and support BOM corrections through change management.

Your Tasks

• Ensure product routing data in SAP is up to date with ongoing changes.
• Manage BOM for electronics and ensure BOM readiness for manufacturing, assembly process, enable correct backflush of parts for stock management.
• Maintain correct part numbers, package types, footprints, Quantity, reference designators, and alternates.
• Monitor and maintain product lifecycle status.
• Manage Engineering Change Requests in SAP. (Support BOM corrections through the change management process).
• Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and audit traceability for changes.
• Maintain revision control and validity dates. Share all relevant information with interfaces and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Create and extend SAP Material Masters.
• Create SAP Work Center-Connect cost center to assembly area and cost center, working hours, calculation keys.
• Create Production Version -Link IE & logistic information.
