Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovative Product Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of our products, ensuring they meet both customer needs and business objectives.

What You'll Do

• BOM & Product Data Management
  • Create, review, validate, and maintain Engineering and Manufacturing BOMs across PLM systems.
  • Ensure BOM accuracy, correct hierarchy, component mapping, and revision control.
  • Perform reconciliation using PLM/ERP integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve BOM discrepancies, component issues, and lifecycle gaps.
• PLM Systems & Engineering Change Management
  • Work with PLM tools (Enovia, Agile PLM, 3DX, Oracle) for part creation, CO/ECN execution, and attribute updates.
  • Load and manage EBOM/MBOM data using templates, PLM loaders, or automated tools.
  • Support ECO workflows, revision releases, and product readiness gates.
• Electronics & Electro-Mechanical Component Expertise
  • Interpret datasheets and understand parameters of electronic (ICs, passives, connectors) and electromechanical (motors, relays, switches) components.
  • Coordinate with Component Engineering for lifecycle risks, alternates, compliance flags (RoHS, REACH), and part qualification.
  • BOM Scrub as per Component Engineering for parametric development and update.
• Analytics & Excel Proficiency
  • Analyze BOMs for completeness, risk, and correctness using advanced Excel functions (pivot, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, power queries).
  • Prepare reports for engineering, supply chain, and leadership.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work with Design, NPI, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and PLM/IT teams.
  • Support data migration, cleanup, and harmonization activities during integrations and M&A transitions.
  • Participate in BOM validation workshops, process improvement initiatives, and readiness reviews.
