Quadric Information Technology Private Limited in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced SAP MM consultant for direct procurement to support production; you will design and oversee the procurement of direct materials, including POs, schedule lines, and goods receipts, collaborating with planning and finance teams.

The role requires 8+ years in SAP, mainly MM, with hands-on procurement configuration, and UK shift alignment with Hyderabad base.

Qualifications

We are growing our Hyderabad SAP team and are looking for experienced specialists who want to own their area of expertise and work directly with UK-based business and IT stakeholders.

Role Summary

Quadric IT is hiring two SAP MM consultants to support direct procurement: buying the raw materials, components and packaging that production depends on. When direct procurement fails, production lines stop, so the process has to be reliable, well controlled and tightly linked to planning. In this role you will design and support the purchasing processes for direct materials, from requirements created by planning to purchase orders, schedule lines and goods receipts. You will own the procurement set-up of the process, while finance consultants own its accounting outcome.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing process design and configuration

• Design, configure and support purchase requisitions, purchase orders and their document types, number ranges and field controls.
• Configure and support source determination: purchasing info records, source lists, quota arrangements, contracts and scheduling agreements.
• Configure and support release strategies or approval workflows for purchasing documents.
• Configure purchasing pricing procedures and conditions, and purchase order output.

Planning and supplier integration

• Work with production planning consultants so MRP creates the right requisitions or schedule lines from the right sources of supply.
• Support goods receipt processes for direct materials, including tolerances and quality-related receipts, with inventory and quality colleagues.
• Support supplier communication channels such as EDI/IDoc for purchase orders, confirmations and delivery schedules where used.

Support and enablement

• Own the procurement set-up of invoice verification (purchase order references, tolerances, invoice-related controls) together with S2P finance consultants.
• Resolve purchasing incidents, write functional specifications for enhancements and interfaces, support testing, and train buyers and planners.

Required Skills And Experience

• 8+ years of relevant SAP experience, mainly in SAP MM, with sustained hands-on direct procurement configuration and support.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing documents, source determination, info records, source lists and outline agreements.
• Practical experience with scheduling agreements and the link between MRP and purchasing.
• Experience with release strategies, purchasing pricing and output.
• Understanding of MM FI integration for goods receipt and invoice postings.
• At least one full-cycle implementation, rollout or major support engagement on SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.

Preferred Skills (nice To Have)

• SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement experience, including Fiori purchasing apps.
• Subcontracting, consignment or stock transfer processes.
• EDI/IDoc integration with suppliers.
• Supplier evaluation or supplier quality processes.

WAYS OF WORKING

• Work from our Hyderabad location on UK shift hours, collaborating daily with UK-based business users, process owners and IT teams.
• Work alongside other SAP functional and technical consultants (FI, MM, LE, ABAP and integration) to deliver end-to-end solutions rather than isolated configuration.
• Follow structured delivery practices: documented requirements, controlled configuration changes, test evidence and clear hand-over notes.
