Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Consultant with a strong background in implementing, configuring, and managing master data solutions across multiple domains such as customer, vendor, material, and finance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring data quality, designing governance workflows, and integrating MDG with other SAP and non‑SAP systems to enable consistent, high‑quality data across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation & Configuration: Implement and configure SAP MDG solutions for master data domains such as customer, vendor, material, and finance.
• Process & Workflow Design: Design and develop workflows, approval processes, and business rules using BRF+, ensuring robust governance and control over master data changes.
• Data Quality & Governance: Develop and execute data consolidation, cleansing, de‑duplication, and harmonization strategies to maintain data integrity and compliance.
• Technical Expertise: Customize SAP MDG solutions using BADI, Fiori, and the Data Replication Framework (DRF) for seamless integration with SAP and non‑SAP systems.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze gaps, and propose efficient governance solutions.
• Testing & Support: Lead and participate in end‑to‑end testing, cutover activities, and user training to ensure smooth transition and solution stability.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical and functional documentation for implemented solutions and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands‑on SAP MDG / MDM implementation and configuration experience.
• Strong expertise in BRF+, FPM, BADI, and DRF frameworks.
• In‑depth knowledge of master data lifecycle management, governance models, and data quality strategies.
• Solid understanding of SAP architecture and data governance principles.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Fiori, ECC, and S/4HANA environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with ABAP enhancements is an added advantage.
