Job summary

A fast growing product-based organization in Pune is seeking an SAP MDG Specialist to manage and develop their Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions. With a focus on ensuring high performance and scalability, the ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in MDG, strong technical knowledge of SAP systems, and proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies. Candidates should possess excellent analytical skills and be comfortable engaging with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in Master Data Management and Governance.
• Good operational and technical knowledge of SAP MDG 2022 and above.
• Working experience of configuring/troubleshooting SAP MDG workflows.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and operational management of MDG solutions.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of MDM landscape.
• Manage data replication and distribution between MDG and SAP/non-SAP systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business units.

Job description

We are currently looking for SAP MDG Specialistto join a fast growing product based Organisation in Pune.

If you are someone leveraging your experience in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and background in DevOps practices, who can participate in the development and operational management of MDG solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability of Orbia’s MDM landscape! Location: Baner, Pune

• Academic Level: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance or similar;
• Language(s) and level of proficiency: English, Proficient. Excellent listening, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills;
• Knowledge/Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in Master Data Management and Governance in a multinational environment;
• Good operational and technical knowledge of SAP MDG 2022 and above, including Product, Customer, Supplier, and Financial Master Data domains;
• Working experience of configuring/troubleshooting SAP MDG workflows;
• Working experience and understanding of Data Replication & Distribution frameworks such as ALE/IDoc, SOA, between MDG and SAP or non-SAP systems;
• Experience in basic MDG customizing using ABAP, BRF+ (Business Rule Framework), and BAdIs (Business Add-ins) for data validations and enhancements;
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum DevOps framework and tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar;
• Proven experience in incident and service management and/or MDG project implementations; knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM is a plus;
• Understanding of the SAP solution offering in S/4 HANA; SAP ECC is a plus;
• Comfortable in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders: users, subject matter experts, leaders, IT support teams, etc.;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Customer-service mindset with a desire and capability to listen, learn and improve processes;
