Job summary

UST is seeking an Associate Support Consultant with deep SAP MM expertise to provide application support for AMS projects. You will resolve production issues, ensure SLAs, document solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality support services.

You will handle incidents in SMT ticketing tool, drive KPIs, troubleshoot SAP MM functions, maintain master data, and contribute to knowledge articles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in SAP with AMS involvement.
• Hands-on SAP MM experience on AMS/support projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP MM standard business processes and P2P lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Resolve incidents and service requests raised by end users through SMT ticketing tool within defined SLAs.
• Deliver high-quality support services while meeting KPIs and performance metrics.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP MM functional issues related to procurement and inventory processes.
• Prepare and maintain solution documentation, knowledge articles, and support documents.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing and learning sessions for team members.
• Participate in ad hoc assignments and support activities as allocated by project leads.
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure timely issue resolution and continuous process improvement.

We are looking for an experienced Associate Support Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) to provide application support for AMS projects. The role involves resolving production support issues, ensuring adherence to service-level KPIs, documenting solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality support services.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve incidents and service requests raised by end users through the SMT ticketing tool within defined SLAs.
• Deliver high-quality support services while consistently meeting established KPIs and performance metrics.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP MM functional issues related to procurement and inventory processes.
• Prepare and maintain solution documentation, knowledge articles, and support documents.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing and learning sessions for team members.
• Participate in ad hoc assignments and support activities as allocated by project leads.
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure timely issue resolution and continuous process improvement.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Overall 3+ years of experience in SAP, with hands-on involvement in AMS (Application Management Support) and SAP rollout projects.
• Minimum 2+ years of functional experience in SAP ECC MM on AMS/support projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP MM standard business processes and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience in:
• Material Master and Vendor Master data
• Special Procurement Processes
• Outline Agreements (Contracts & Scheduling Agreements)
• Release Strategy
• Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) processes
• Good understanding of customized business template processes and client-specific SAP MM solutions.
• Working knowledge of cross-functional integration with:
• SAP SD (Sales and Distribution)
• SAP LE (Logistics Execution)
• SAP FI (Finance)

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SAP technical concepts such as debugging, Workflow, and IDocs.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven customer-facing experience with the ability to interact effectively with business users and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a support environment while collaborating effectively within a team.
