Job summary

emagine in Pune, hybrid work model, is seeking an experienced SAP MDG Developer to enhance master data governance and data quality across business and IT.

The role covers MDG configuration, ABAP/OO development, BRF+, UI changes, and integration with ECC/CRM. Qualifications

• Experience with SAP MDG configuration and development.
• Knowledge of BRF+, MDG workflow, and data replication/integration concepts.
• Strong understanding of master data governance, lifecycle and data quality.
• Familiarity with SAP data models and tables relevant to the domain(s) (Material).
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across business and IT.
• Fluent in English.
• 10+ years of experience in relevant roles.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP MDG solutions (workflow, data models, change requests, validations, derivations, UI).
• Configure and develop MDG objects and processes (ABAP/OO, BRF+, Enhancements/BAdIs, User Exits, UI).
• Conduct unit tests and produce technical documentation to maintain code quality.
• Manage integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems (ECC, CRM, middleware).
• Collaborate with IT team, solution owners, and consultants for requirement clarifications and resolving issues.
• Provide L1/L2/L3 support and troubleshoot operational issues to ensure stability.

Main Responsibilities

• Support SAP MDG solutions (workflow, data models, change requests, validations, derivations, UI).
• Configure and develop MDG objects and processes (ABAP/OO, BRF+, Enhancements/BAdIs, User Exits, UI, etc.) based on predefined designs.
• Conduct unit tests and produce technical documentation to maintain code quality.
• Manage integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems (ECC, CRM, middleware).
