Job summary

Nouryon is seeking an SAP Integration Analyst to design and deliver SAP CPI integration flows and leverage APIs to enhance IT system value. You will work with cross-functional teams on new functionality, data migrations, and upgrades, while supporting platform incidents and automation initiatives.

The role requires five+ years in SAP CPI/Integration, experience with adapters and scripting, and a strong grasp of API ecosystems within a global enterprise.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business management, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience as an SAP CPI/Integration Developer with certification preferred.
• Hands-on designing CPI iFlows using adapters (SOAP, REST, IDoc, SFTP, AS2, HTTP, OData).
• Experience with CPI Cockpit and JAVA/Groovy Script.
• Knowledge of APIs and API Business Hub.
• Agile environment experience.
• Strong analytical skills and data model understanding.
• Good communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP CPI integration flows (iFlows) for SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Explore SAP technologies like BTP, SAP Build, Joule, and AI-based integration.
• Work with cross-functional teams on new functionality, data migrations, and upgrades.
• Support the DT platform team in incident resolution and small changes.
• Translate business integration requirements into CPI design specifications.
• Contribute to automation/digitalisation roadmap and identify value opportunities.

About The Job (Job Responsibilities):

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP CPI integration flows (iFlows) connecting SAP and non-SAP systems, including SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, and SFTP-based interfaces within a complex enterprise environment.
• Explore and support emerging SAP technologies, such as BTP, SAP Build, Joule, and AI-based integration.
• Work in cross-functional project teams on new functionality, data migrations, and upgrades.
• Support our DT platform team in resolving incidents and in implementing small changes and operational support.
• Discuss with business stakeholders to collect integration requirements and translate these into design specifications for CPI integration flows.
• Support the development and implementation of the Automation/Digitalisation roadmap of Nouryon.
• Proactively identify new opportunities to get more value out of our IT systems.

We believe you bring (Education & Experience):

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business management, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience as an SAP CPI/Integration Developer, with certification as an SAP Integration Suite Consultant preferred.
• Hands-on experience designing and building CPI iFlows using adapters (SOAP, REST, IDoc, SFTP, AS2, HTTP, OData) and integration patterns such as Content-Based Routing, Multicast, Splitter/Gather, and Message Mapping.
• Hands-on experience with CPI Cockpit and JAVA/Groovy Script.
• Knowledge of APIs and API business hub.
• Good troubleshooting skills and knowledge in mapping and adapters connectivity issues.
• Experience with CPI security configurations including OAuth, certificate-based authentication, credential stores, and secure connectivity to cloud and on-premises systems.
• Knowledge of oData, Adobe Forms, and cloud connectors.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of data models.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence internal and external parties.
• Ability to deliver results in a demanding and rapidly changing organization.
• Experience working in a global environment and familiarity with regional specifics.
• Independence and self-drive.
• Knowledge of Software AG web Methods or similar integration middleware platforms.
• Working experience on basic SAP ABAP modules (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements) will be an added advantage.
