Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior ILM/Data Archiving Manager to design, implement and support SAP Data Archiving and ArchiveLink solutions integrated with OpenText and SAP ILM. You will drive data volume management and retention strategies across ECC/S/4HANA landscapes, collaborating with global teams and SAP modules.

The role requires deep SAP archiving expertise, OpenText proficiency, and strong client-facing communication in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience with SAP Data Archiving and SAP ILM.
• Design, implement, and support SAP Data Archiving and ArchiveLink integrated with OpenText/SAP ILM.
• Define and execute SAP Data Archiving strategies, incl. archiving objects and configuration.
• Work on Data Volume Management to analyze data growth and optimization.
• Design and support OpenText Content Server, Core Archive, and Archive Server.
• Implement OpenText ADA & InfoArchive for SAP, incl. landscape design and testing.
• Configure and manage SAP ILM for Archiving and retention management.
• Collaborate with SAP FI/CO/MM/SD/HR from archiving perspective.
• Support SAP S/4HANA and ECC data archiving initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analyze issues and deliver effective archiving solutions for global clients.
• Support workflows, Live Reports, and WebReports.
• Participate in full project lifecycles for OpenText xECM for SAP.

ILM_Manager:

• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience with SAP Data Archiving, including exposure to SAP ILM, OpenText and newer technologies and procedures related to the same
• Design, implement, administer, and support SAP Data Archiving and ArchiveLink solutions integrated with OpenText and/or SAP ILM
• Define and execute SAP Data Archiving strategies, including archiving object analysis, configuration, and execution
• Work on Data Volume Management (DVM) to analyze data growth, identify root causes, and recommend optimization solutions
• Design and support OpenText Content Server, Core Archive, and Archive Server
• Implement and support OpenText ADA & InfoArchive for SAP, including landscape design, configuration, and testing
• Configure and manage SAP ILM for Archiving, including retention management
• Design, monitor, troubleshoot, and debug archiving and ArchiveLink background jobs
• Support SAP S/4HANA and ECC data archiving initiatives
• Work closely with SAP functional modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, HR) from an archiving and document management perspective
• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements, analyze issues, and deliver effective solutions
• Support and implement workflows, Live Reports, and WebReports
• Participate in full project lifecycle implementations of OpenText xECM for SAP
• Basic Understanding of SAP Basis & core basis activities

Strong Technical knowledge of:

• SAP Data Archiving & SAP ArchiveLink
• SAP integration with OpenText
• ECM and xECM solutions
• ECC and/or S/4HANA data volume management
• SAP ILM for Archiving and retention functionality
• Experience working in Linux and Windows environment
• Strong analytical skills to assess data growth and document volume challenges
• Proven ability to work in complex, global system landscapes
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and business stakeholders
• A hands‑on consultant with deep SAP + OpenText archiving expertise
• Someone comfortable working across large‑scale, international environments
• Strong problem‑solver who can translate business needs into robust archiving solutions
• Excellent communicator with strong client‑facing experience
