Job summary

Honeybee Tech Solutions is recruiting a Senior SAP BW/HANA Data Engineer for its end client Atlas Copco. You will design, develop, and support SAP BW on HANA and Native HANA data solutions, while assisting platform governance and delivery management.

The role requires strong SAP BW/BI and HANA expertise, end‑to‑end DW skills, and leadership in an agile environment. Fluency in English and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of SAP BW/BI experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP BW on HANA and Native HANA.
• End-to-end data warehousing solution development.
• Experience with BW on HANA, BW/4HANA and S/4HANA reporting transformations.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
• Functional knowledge of FI/CO, COPA, SCM, MM or SD.
• Agile delivery and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end SAP bw/hana data solutions.
• Gather business requirements and translate into technical specs and data models.
• Lead BW/HANA development including data modeling, acquisition, transformations, process chains, HANA views, and SQL.
• Support BW modernization and migration initiatives.
• Troubleshoot data quality, processing, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with SAP Basis, Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the BW/HANA team.
• Drive continuous improvements in data architecture and development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end SAP bw/hana data solutions.
• Gather business requirements and convert them into technical specifications and data models.

• Support BW modernization and migration initiatives.
• Troubleshoot data quality, processing, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with SAP Basis, Infrastructure, Security, Functional, and Application teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the BW/HANA development team.
• Drive continuous improvements in data architecture and development practices.

Role Scope

• Senior member of the BW/HANA team of approximately 5 members.
• Acts as deputy to the BW/HANA Platform Owner.
• Supports platform governance, delivery management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Works with business users and multiple IT teams.
• Handles multiple projects and tasks in parallel.
• May occasionally require working outside standard hours for project or production support.
