Job summary

Price Waterhouse Cooper LLP in Mumbai seeks a Senior Associate to work on SAP BW4HANA and SAP data analytics in an advisory capacity. The role involves end-to-end modelling, data extraction, and reporting, with emphasis on performance optimization and integration with SAP Datasphere and SAC.

You will collaborate with multinational clients and stakeholders, handling complex transformations, ABAP debugging, and data governance practices to deliver enterprise insights.

Qualifications

• Must have SAP BW4HANA, BW4HANA modelling, extraction and reporting capabilities.
• Proven experience in data modelling with ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS views and BEx Queries.
• Strong SQL and AMDP scripting with ABAP debugging.
• Experience mapping business requirements to SAP architecture and data models.

Job Description for SAP BW4HANA

• Excellent technical know-how and hands on experience in SAP BW4HANA, Hana View & ABAP.
• End to end development experience in SAP BW4HANA Modelling using ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS views, Transformations, BEX Queries and Native HANA & exposing BW models as HANA views, mixed scenarios, HANA Analysis process.
• Aware about LSA ++ standard methodology and performance optimization concepts, handling complex transformations using ABAP etc
• Experience in Bex Query Designer, Customer Exits Variables, Roles & Authorization
• Strong SQL Experience and AMDP Scripts, Start/End/Exit/Expert/Field Routines), Function Module and BADIs, good in debugging ABAP Code.
• Functional knowledge of SAP modules (SD, MM, Inventory, FICO, PM etc.).
• Performed ABAP development for data extraction, custom logic, enhancements, and performance optimization.
• Lead or contribute to BW to SAP Datasphere migration/conversion initiatives, including Object assessment, Data model redesign using Datasphere best practices, Validation and reconciliation of migrated data.
  
• Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and future extensibility.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and analytics teams to understand reporting and data requirements.
• Support integration with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and other reporting/BI tools.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Ensure compliance with SAP standards, security, and data governance guidelines
• Experience in mapping business requirements to the technical architecture design and data mode.
• Experience/Knowledge SAP Datasphere, Reporting tool like (SAP Analytics Cloud, Business Objects etc.) will be plus.
