Job description

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP HANA Cloud Developer / HANA on premises to work on a database-centric SAP BTP architecture. The role focuses on SQLScript-based procedural development using a multi-container HANA Cloud setup to support enterprise reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SQLScript procedures in SAP HANA Cloud.
• Implement and maintain the multi-container architecture (staging, target, procedures).
• Develop complex dynamic SQL and parameterized procedures.
• Enable parallel execution of procedures for performance optimization.
• Manage cross-container access using grants, synonyms, and roles.
• Perform table partitioning and SQL performance tuning.
• Support manual MTAR-based transport and environment synchronization.
• Collaborate with Datasphere and SAC teams to support reporting needs.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP HANA Cloud SQLScript.
• Deep expertise in dynamic SQL, window functions, and procedural programming.
• Experience with multi‑container HANA Cloud architecture.
• Familiarity with JDBC-based data ingestion (e.g., Hadoop / non‑SAP sources) and SDA concepts (DP Agent, virtual tables – conceptual).
• Experience working in Business Application Studio (BAS).
