Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Bengaluru seeks an experienced SAP HANA Developer to design and implement data models in HANA Cloud, create calculation views, and implement table functions and SQL procedures. You will work closely with architects and peers to deliver scalable analytics solutions in an agile environment.

The role demands strong SQL, expertise in XS Advanced and XSA migration tooling, and hands-on experience with BitBucket/Jenkins within SAP HANA Cloud migrations.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of SAP BTP HANA Cloud Modeling experience in Calculation views, table functions and SQL Stored procedures.
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience in HANA Cloud Migration is a plus.
• Hands-on with XS Advanced, XSA migration tooling and DevOps (BitBucket/Jenkins).

Responsibilities

• Build reporting applications in an enterprise SAP HANA Cloud environment aligned with system architects.
• Handle data from diverse sources and structure datasets for analysts and ML workflows.
• Write high quality, maintainable code and ensure data integrity across the solution.
• Collaborate in an Agile/SAFe setup, document requirements and support cross-team interfaces.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and drive continuous improvement with stakeholders.

• 5+ years of Strong SAP BTP HANA Cloud Modeling experience in Calculation views, table functions and SQL Stored procedures
• DevOps tools experience in BitBucket and Jenkins
• Worked on 2 full cycle of HANA implementation as HANA modeler in productive environment
• Deep understanding of XS Advanced features and capabilities
• 2+ year of XSA Migration knowledge is must
• HANA Cloud Migration using XSA migration tool kit
• XSOData, XSJS
• Familiar with SDA, SDI, SLT Concepts
• Good knowledge in Jenkins, BitBucket / Github
• Strong SQL knowledge is MUST

Role Description:

As a SAP HANA Developer you will be closely aligned with your peer engineers/developers and our solution architects to ensure the quality of both your own deliverables and the team deliverables. Within your Agile Release Train (ART) your team collaborates closely with the other teams to ensure consistent implementation of the architecture and align on the delivered work. Through continuous alignment we are able to think of innovative technical solutions, you’re challenged to contribute to our success!

• Build our Reporting applications in an enterprise environment, being closely connected to our System Architects;
• Handle data from various datasources and determine how to best structure the data in order to provide ready-to-use datasets for our Data Analysts, who can run queries and algorithms against the information for predictive and prescriptive analytics through machine learning;
• Write high quality, maintainable and robust code, ensuring long-term quality and integrity of the data.
• Analyze, design and implement planning, reporting & analytics solutions, realizing the product backlog
• Operate in a multidisciplinary team working on solutions in SAP HANA Cloud, Devops Tools(BitBucket/ Jenkins).
• Ensure quality of own deliverables, this includes designing and implementing automated tests (a.o. on unit- and integration levels)
• Cooperate with other teams to ensure consistent implementation of the architecture, agree on interfaces and timing of cross-team deliveries
• Troubleshoot, analyze and solve integration issues, both from internal alpha and beta tests, as well as reported by our customers.
• Co-ordinating with Business stakeholders and document the requirements in user story template and follow Scrum process(Agile/SAFe Framework)
• Write or update product documentation in accordance with company processes
• Suggest improvements to our technical solutions and way of working, and implement them in alignment with your team and their stakeholders
