Job summary

Cyan360, Inc. is seeking a seasoned SAP HANA Developer to join its Enterprise Data & Analytics team. You will design and deploy HANA data models, leverage Calculation Views, and ensure data quality while coordinating with IT and business stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years IT experience, strong SQL/HANA skills, and experience with SLT and BI tools such as Tableau. Collaboration and documentation are essential, with an emphasis on delivering timely, robust analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years IT experience including working directly with business clients.
• 2+ years with SAP ECC and SLT including SLT Transformation.
• 2+ years of SQL development and data work.
• 2+ years of BI tools experience such as Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure to provide data for business users.
• Collaborate with analysts, solution architects and SMEs to deploy solutions and document design.
• Develop HANA models using Calculation Views and optimize performance.
• Integrate SAP HANA with SAP and non-SAP systems using SLT and ETL tools.
• Map business requirements to technical architecture and information model in HANA.
• Promote SAP development best practices and ensure quality through testing.
• Work with stakeholders to develop test cases and scripts.
• Test models and solutions to verify requirement satisfaction.
• Contribute as a team member and ensure timely deliverables.
• Participate in code promotions and SDLC activities.

Job description

The position will be part of the Enterprise Data & Analytics team whose scope includes the enterprise data warehouse, data integration, and analytics platforms. The selected candidate's responsibilities include supporting the HANA Enterprise analytics platform, data model design and deployment, planning and coordination, software development, testing, and documentation. Responsibilities also include ensuring high levels of data quality as well as solving technical issues and problems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. 1. Work with specifications to design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure to provide business users with the tools and data needed to do their jobs more effectively
2. 2. Work with business analyst, solution architects, and business SMEs to deploy solutions based on technical specifications including developing data modeling requirements, code design and functional and technical documentation
3. 3. Leverage technical expertise to develop HANA models using Calculation Views
4. 4. Integrate SAP HANA with SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP SLT, and/or other ETL tools
5. 5. Map business requirements to the technical architecture design and information model in SAP HANA
6. 6. Implement HANA development best practices and develop performance optimized solutions
7. 7. Promote and apply SAP development best practices
8. 8. Work with business analysts and process owners on the development of test cases and scripts
9. 9. Test models and solutions to verify that requirements are met
10. 10. Work independently as a team member on assigned Task and ensure timely deliverables

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of Information Technology experience including working directly with business clients
• 2+ years of experience with SAP ECC and SLT including SLT Transformation
• 2+ years of experience with SQL development, Stored Procedures, Functions and Data

Modeling

• 2+ years of experience in software testing
• Experience with BI Tools – Tableau and Analysis for Office a Plus
• Proficient in SQL and especially HANA SQLScript
• Knowledgeable of Code Promotion Process & Tools
• Experience with HANA Performance Tuning (Memory Consumption, Logging, Partitioning)
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle & Agile Framework
