The Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP PaPM Technical Consultant with strong hands‑on expertise in modelling and configuration. The role involves building scalable financial models, enabling planning and forecasting, and supporting end‑to‑end PaPM implementations within finance transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP PaPM models for cost allocation, planning, forecasting, and what‑if simulations
• Perform PaPM data integration with SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW systems
• Configure PaPM functions including Calculation, Allocation, Enrichment, Validation, and Simulation
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable PaPM solutions
• Validate and reconcile outputs to ensure financial accuracy and consistency
• Optimize model performance and handle errors/troubleshooting
• Implement cost and revenue allocation frameworks
• Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, and IT teams for requirement gathering and delivery
• Support SIT, UAT, and end‑to‑end testing cycles
• Assist in go‑live activities and provide post-production support

Must‑Have Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP PaPM modelling & configuration
• Expertise in cost and revenue allocation frameworks
• Experience with PaPM functions (Calculation, Allocation, Enrichment, Validation, Simulation)
• Data integration experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW
• Strong understanding of planning & forecasting processes
• Experience in result validation and reconciliation
• Performance optimization and error handling skills
• Functional knowledge of Finance: P&L, Cost Centers, Products & Customer profitability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Finance Transformation projects
• Exposure to SAP EPM landscape
