Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited seeks a Senior SAP Technical Delivery Lead – Finance, Banking & Taxation in Noida. You will own SAP solution architecture across Finance, Treasury, and Tax, and drive integrations with external banking platforms and tax authorities.

You will lead architecture reviews, manage end-to-end SAP projects, and mentor a delivery team while ensuring compliance, testing, and production readiness. Extensive FI/CO expertise and S/4HANA experience are required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of SAP experience.
• Techno-functional knowledge of core SAP modules (FI, MM, SD, HR, PP).
• Proven experience leading application support and enhancements.
• Strong incident, problem, change and release management.
• Working knowledge of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA architectures.
• Deep FI/CO expertise across GL/AP/AR/Asset/CO/IO.
• Extensive SAP Banking Integration and treasury interfaces knowledge.
• Tax/compliance knowledge across GST, VAT, e-Invoicing and multi-jurisdiction
• Solution architecture capability for end-to-end SAP landscapes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations and embedded analytics.
• Integration architecture for SAP and non-SAP systems.

Responsibilities

• Own SAP solution architecture across Finance, Treasury, Banking, and Tax.
• Define integrations between SAP and external systems (banking, tax authorities, SWIFT).
• Lead workshops and reviews as the primary SAP authority.
• Manage end-to-end SAP project delivery and AMS, guiding teams.
• Provide deep FI/CO expertise across GL, AP, AR, Asset, CO, PCA, IO.
• Lead banking and treasury solutions including host-to-host and SWIFT.
• Own SAP tax configurations (GST, VAT, e-Invoicing) and compliance.
• Partner with Tax/Legal teams to implement regulatory changes via SAP.

Must-Have

• 15+ years of overall SAP experience
• Solid techno‑functional understanding of core SAP modules (e.g., FI, MM, SD, HR, PP – depending on landscape).
• Proven experience leading application support and enhancement engagements.
• Strong experience in incident, problem, change, and release management.
• Working knowledge of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA architectures.
• Deep, hands‑on expertise in SAP Finance (FI/CO) with the ability to configure, troubleshoot and optimise across the full spectrum of financial accounting and management accounting processes
• Extensive knowledge of SAP Banking Integration including host-to-host connectivity, payment processing, bank statement reconciliation, SWIFT/SEPA standards and treasury interfaces
• Strong domain expertise in global taxation — GST, VAT, withholding tax, E-Invoicing and statutory compliance — with direct experience implementing solutions across multiple jurisdictions
• Proven solution architecture capability — ability to design end‑to‑end SAP solutions that are scalable, compliant and aligned with enterprise architecture standards and integration patterns
• Solid experience with SAP S/4HANA — both greenfield and migration scenarios — including an understanding of S/4HANA Finance simplifications, Universal Journal and embedded analytics
• Strong integration architecture experience spanning SAP and non‑SAP systems including banking platforms, tax authority interfaces, middleware layers and third‑party financial applications

Good-to-Have

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA migrations or upgrades.
• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM, and monitoring tools.
• ITIL / PMP / Prince2 / Agile certifications.
• Experience in global delivery and multi‑vendor environments.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Own SAP solution architecture across Finance, Treasury, Banking, and Tax functions, including design, integration, governance, and architecture reviews.
• Define and oversee integrations between SAP and external systems such as banking platforms, tax authorities, payment hubs, SWIFT, and third‑party financial applications.
• Lead solution design workshops, architecture reviews, and stakeholder discussions while serving as the primary SAP solution authority.
• Manage end‑to‑end SAP project delivery and operational support, leading functional consultants, developers, and integration teams to ensure high-quality delivery, testing, documentation, and production readiness.
• Provide deep SAP FI/CO expertise covering General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
• Lead banking and treasury solutions including host-to-host connectivity, SWIFT integrations, payment factories, multi‑bank reconciliation, cash management, liquidity forecasting, bank account management, and in-house banking.
• Own SAP tax configurations including GST, VAT, withholding tax, e‑Invoicing, and country‑specific statutory compliance requirements.
• Partner with Tax and Legal teams to implement regulatory changes through SAP configuration, controls, testing, and documentation.

Project & Delivery Skills

• Demonstrated experience in project planning, estimation, delivery tracking, and risk management.
• Experience working in AMS, DevOps, Agile, or hybrid delivery models.
• Strong stakeholder communication and reporting skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Relevant SAP or project management certifications preferred.
• MBA in Finance or Strategy from a recognised institution
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or a related field as an alternative to professional qualification
