Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking an experienced SAP FICO + SAP Ariba Consultant in Bangalore with 5-8 years of SAP experience to support finance, procurement, and supplier management processes. The role covers end-to-end implementations, integrations, and process optimization within SAP FICO and SAP Ariba.

Candidates should have strong functional knowledge of SAP FICO and SAP Ariba, with hands-on experience in end-to-end projects, SAP S/4HANA Finance, and P2P/S2P processes.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP FICO.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Ariba.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, configure, and support SAP Finance & Controlling (FICO) modules.
• Configure and support SAP Ariba modules including Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, and Contracts Management.
• Coordinate integration between SAP ECC/S4HANA and SAP Ariba using CIG and CPI/PI/PO.
• Participate in end-to-end implementation, rollout, and production support.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO + SAP Ariba Consultant with 5-8 years of SAP expertise to support and enhance finance, procurement, and supplier management processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional knowledge of SAP FICO and SAP Ariba solutions, with experience in end-to-end implementations, support projects, integrations, and business process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

SAP FICO

• Analyze, design, configure, and support SAP Finance & Controlling (FICO) modules.
• Manage and support:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Bank Accounting
• Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
• Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
• Internal Orders
• Product Costing
• Handle month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Support financial reporting, compliance, taxation, and audit requirements.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide SAP solutions.

SAP Ariba

• Configure and support SAP Ariba modules including:
• Buying & Invoicing
• Sourcing
• Contracts Management
• Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP)
• Supplier Risk
• Guided Buying
• Manage supplier onboarding and procurement processes.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to optimize source-to-pay (S2P) processes.
• Support Ariba Network integrations and supplier enablement activities.

Integration & Technical Collaboration

• Work on integration between SAP ECC/S4HANA and SAP Ariba using:
• CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway)
• Middleware platforms such as CPI/PI/PO
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including MM, SD, WM, BASIS, and technical teams.
• Support interfaces, enhancements, testing, and deployment activities.

Implementation & Support

• Participate in end-to-end implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects.
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops and solution design sessions.
• Prepare functional specifications, test scenarios, and user training materials.
• Handle production support incidents, service requests, and change requests.
• Ensure SLA adherence and deliver high-quality support.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP FICO.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Ariba.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes.
• Experience in SAP Ariba Network and supplier collaboration.
• Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation project.
• Strong knowledge of business process mapping and solution design.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in SAP Central Finance (CFIN).
• Exposure to SAP BTP and SAP CPI integration.
• Knowledge of GST, taxation, and financial compliance.
• SAP Ariba and SAP FICO certifications preferred.
• Experience working in global support and transformation projects.
