Job summary

Latinem Private Limited in India is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 7+ years of hands-on FI/CO configuration and business process analysis to deliver SAP solutions aligned with finance requirements.

You will work with finance and IT teams, lead workshops, support month-end activities, and ensure integration with MM, SD, and other modules while guiding end users through functional specifications and training.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience.
• Hands-on SAP FI and CO configuration.
• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting and controlling processes.
• Experience integrating with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience preparing Functional Specifications and coordinating with development teams.
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank, EBS, Tax).
• Configure and support SAP CO (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, Product Costing, CO-PA).
• Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, migration, enhancement and support projects.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP developers.
• Perform testing, data migration, cutover and go-live activities.
• Provide training to end users and support business stakeholders.

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The ideal candidate should possess strong functional expertise in SAP FICO configuration, business process analysis, implementation, support, and stakeholder management. The consultant will work closely with business users, finance teams, and technical teams to deliver effective SAP solutions aligned with business requirements.

Responsibilities

• SAP Finance (FI)
• Configure and support SAP FI modules including:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Bank Accounting
• Electronic Bank Statement (EBS)
• Tax Configuration
• Perform requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, and functional specifications.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Configure and troubleshoot financial integration points with MM, SD, PM, and other SAP modules.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and business policies.

SAP Controlling (CO)

• Configure and support:
• Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
• Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
• Internal Orders
• Product Costing
• Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Support budgeting, planning, cost allocations, assessments, and settlements.
• Analyze and optimize controlling processes to improve financial visibility and reporting.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand operational and reporting requirements.
• Conduct workshops, process walkthroughs, and solution demonstrations.
• Provide functional guidance and training to end users.
• Manage customer expectations and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Collaborate effectively with business leaders, project managers, and technical teams.

Project & Support Activities

• Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, migration, enhancement, and support projects.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments.
• Perform system testing, integration testing, UAT support, and defect resolution.
• Support data migration, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Create and maintain project documentation and knowledge repositories.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of SAP FICO consulting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI and CO configuration.
• Proven experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation project.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting and controlling business processes.
• Experience in integration with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience in preparing Functional Specifications (FS) and coordinating with development teams.
• Strong customer-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

• SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation/support experience.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications related to Finance.
• Experience with Central Finance, Group Reporting, or Treasury Management.
• SAP certification in SAP FI/CO or SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Experience in real estate, construction, manufacturing, or service industries is an added advantage.
