Job summary

ReNew Energy Pvt. Ltd. in Gurgaon is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Lead to drive configuration, customization, and enhancements across finance modules. You will maintain integration with MM, SD, and other modules, support financial close and reporting, and partner with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and drive digital transformation.

The role targets 10–12 years of experience, offering a leadership position within a growing renewable energy group committed to ethics and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP FICO configuration, customization, and enhancements across GL, AP, AR, AA, Taxation.
• Maintain and support integration between FICO and MM, SD, PP, PM, PS.
• Analyze and streamline financial processes across power generation, EPC, and manufacturing divisions.
• Support financial closing, reporting, and reconciliation using SAP tools.
• Coordinate with external consultants for system enhancements, rollouts or upgrades.
• Participate in testing, validation, and end-user training during enhancement rollouts.
• Ensure finance–manufacturing costing and inventory valuation integrations.

System Configuration & Support

• Lead SAP FICO configuration, customization, and enhancements aligned with business requirements in areas such as:
• General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Taxation
• Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
• Product Costing (CO-PC) and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Maintain and support integration between FICO and other modules (MM, SD, PP, PM, PS).
• Resolve system issues, manage change requests, and ensure SAP FICO stability and performance.

Business Process Optimization

• Partner with Finance and Operations teams to analyze and streamline financial processes across power generation, EPC, and manufacturing divisions.
• Support automation and digitalization initiatives and workflow integration.

Governance & Reporting

• Support financial closing, reporting, and reconciliation processes using SAP tools.
• Develop and maintain documentation, process flows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with the SAP CoE and functional leads on minor rollout projects, upgrades, or new module activations.
• Coordinate with external consultants or vendors for system enhancements or issue resolution.
• Participate in testing, validation, and end-user training during enhancement rollouts.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Support integration between finance and manufacturing processes (solar module/cell production costing, inventory valuation, etc.).
• Engage with Digital IT leadership to align SAP finance processes with digital transformation goals.
