Job summary

Nexperia is seeking a seasoned SAP FICO Functional Consultant in Bengaluru to lead FI/CO configuration, implementation, and support across ECC and S/4HANA. You will work with global IT and finance teams, coordinate UAT, and ensure solutions meet business requirements while adhering to governance and compliance standards.

The role requires 7+ years of hands-on SAP FI/CO experience, strong cross-module integration knowledge, and excellent communication with international stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, IT, Business Management, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO, including configuration, implementation, and support across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Strong knowledge of cross-module finance integration across core ERP modules (Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales).
• Solid project management knowledge and ability to adapt to a dynamic global organization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities for translating business requirements into SAP solutions.
• Excellent communication and liaison skills with IT and business stakeholders globally.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of IT governance, compliance, and QA processes.

Job description

The SAP FICO Functional Consultant serves as the key liaison between Finance business processes and SAP IT systems. This role's main responsibility includes integrating, implementing, and supporting SAP Finance solutions (FI and CO modules) that enhance financial operations and meet business requirements. The Consultant collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure effective delivery of SAP Finance functionalities on time, within budget, and aligned with architectural guidelines.

• Lead and participate in SAP Finance (FI/CO) change requests and implementation projects.
• Develop, challenge, and validate business cases and requirements related to SAP Finance.
• Validate SAP Finance solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance standards.

• Work closely with global IT and finance teams, as well as external vendors, to resolve complex SAP Finance issues.

What you will need

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, IT, Business Management, or a related field.

At least 7 years of hands‑on experience in SAP FI/CO, covering configuration, implementation, and support across both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance systems.

Strong knowledge of cross‑module finance integration ("value flows") across core ERP modules (Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales).

Solid project management skills, including knowledge of methodologies, prioritization, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic, matrixed global organization.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities, with the capacity to translate complex business requirements into SAP technical solutions.

Exceptional communication and professional liaison skills, capable of effectively partnering with IT and business stakeholders globally.

Must be fluent in written and spoken English.

Knowledge of IT governance, compliance, and quality assurance processes.
