Job summary

Siera It Services invites an experienced SAP FICO consultant to join our SAP FICO on S/4HANA engagements in India. You will lead finance configurations, oversee CO and FI modules, and drive end-to-end implementations with strong cross-functional coordination.

We require 6–15 years of SAP FI/CO, 2+ S/4HANA implementations with product costing and COPA, and 3+ years in a leadership role. Willingness to travel and strong business process knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• CA/ICWA preferred; otherwise a Postgraduate such as MBA or MCom.
• 6–15 years of SAP FI/CO with S/4HANA experience.
• 2 Implementations or support projects on S/4HANA with Product Costing and COPA.
• 4+ end-to-end Implementations and Support experience.
• FI submodules knowledge: GL, AR, AP, Assets; month-end closing.
• Strong CO knowledge: Overheads, Product Costing, COPA, Settlement.
• FICO integration with MM/SD/PP/PS.
• Leadership: 3+ years in a team lead role; interaction with top mgmt.
• SAP Certification preferred; willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP FICO design and configuration in S/4HANA.
• Coordinate with technical team to resolve issues in assigned objects.
• Develop functional specifications for changes and enhancements.
• Monitor tickets and ensure SLA adherence.
• Prepare effort estimates for new developments/change requests.
• Ensure SAP Best Practices and robust business processes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (MM/SD/PP/PS) for integration.
• Support month-end closing activities and validations.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• CA/ICWA candidates are preferred but otherwise should be a Post Graduate as minimum educational qualification like MBA/MCom, etc
• Should have 6-15 years of experience in SAP FI and CO with S4Hana experience. Add on with FSCM, Funds Management experience would be added advantage
• Must have at least 2 Implementation or support projects on S4 Hana with experience in Product costing and COPA in Controlling module
• Should have at least 4 plus end-to-end Implementations and Support experience.
• SAP Finance (S4 Hana) Basic knowledge in FI submodules- GL, AR, AP & Assets
• SAP Finance Month end closing activities, Validations and Substitutions & Reporting.
• Should have worked on two Implementation projects in Controlling in S4 Hana.
• SAP Controlling -Should have hands on experience in Overheads Cost Controlling, in product costing like product cost planning, cost object controlling and actual costing & ML, Profitability analysis, COPA Planning, Settlement, Month end closing process
• Integration between FICO and other core modules like MM/ SD / PP /PS
• Should have strong Domain experience in Finance
• Leadership experience, minimum 3 years in a team lead role. Strong executive presence and ability to interact with Customer Top Management
• SAP Certification in preferred
• Good Business process understanding
• Knowledge of SAP Best practices and building blocks
• Should be able to design and configure business scenarios
• Solution focused - be able to provide solutions
• Knowledge in User exits, BAPI and uploading tools like LSMW, BDC & LTMC.
• Developing functional specifications for new developments / change requests
• Day to Day monitoring of tickets and work towards closure
• Analyzing the issues and provide estimates
• Development of functional specification documents for changes and enhancements
• Issue Resolution based on SLA
• Co-ordinate with technical team to resolve the issues in the given objects
• Must be a very good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to travel
• Able to link the business wish to an IT solution

• Business Travel: Project specific travelling is mandatory for all the SAP Consultants.
