Job summary

Tata Electronics (TEPL) in Karnataka, India, seeks an experienced SAP FICO consultant to gather and translate business requirements into SAP solutions, with deep expertise in FI and CO modules and end-to-end implementation experience.

The role collaborates with business users and technical teams to design finance processes, integrate with MM/SD/PP/Ariba, conduct testing, training, and support month-end close, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years SAP FICO implementation and support experience.
• Strong expertise in SAP FI and CO configuration.
• Experience in end-to-end SAP implementation projects and support engagements.
• Knowledge of financial accounting, cost management, budgeting, and controlling processes.
• Experience in writing functional specifications and working with ABAP developers.
• Strong understanding of interfaces, data migration, and integration scenarios.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and translate business requirements into SAP FICO solutions.
• Configure and support SAP FI modules including: GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, Taxation.
• Configure and support SAP CO modules including: Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, COPA.
• Work closely with business users to design and optimize finance processes.
• Support integration with SAP MM, SD, PP, Ariba, Concur, and other third-party applications.
• Coordinate with technical teams for enhancements, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflows.
• Perform system testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and production support.
• Develop functional specifications and review technical developments.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Deliver user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
• Participate in SAP transformation, upgrade, rollout, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Commerce, Finance, Accounting, CA, CMA, MBA Finance background preferred but not mandatory.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelors degree in commerce, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related discipline.
• SAP Certification in FICO/S4HANA Finance will be an added advantage.
