Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled SAP FICO Consultant to join our team in Pune. The candidate will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling solutions. The role involves close interaction with business stakeholders to deliver effective finance solutions across SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

SAP FICO Implementation & Support

• Configure and support SAP FI modules:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Bank Accounting
• Configure and support SAP CO modules:
• Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
• Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
• Internal Orders
• Product Costing (optional based on project)
• Participate in end-to-end SAP implementations, rollouts, and enhancements.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO configurations.

Integration & Financial Operations

• Ensure integration of SAP FICO with MM, SD, PS, and other SAP modules.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit requirements.
• Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.

Testing, Documentation & Training

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Prepare and maintain functional and configuration documentation.
• Provide end-user training and post-go-live support.
• Provide day-to-day support and troubleshoot SAP FICO issues.
• Participate in support pack upgrades and regression testing.
• Recommend process improvements and best practices.
• Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA Finance innovations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO (FI & CO).
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Solid understanding of accounting and controlling processes.
• Experience working in support and implementation projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance migration or implementation projects.
• Knowledge of New GL, Universal Journal, SAP Fiori apps.
• SAP FICO certification.
• Experience in global or multi-location projects.
