Job summary

Capgemini seeks an experienced SAP FI specialist to lead design, configuration, and deployment in S/4HANA Finance environments. You will blueprint and map core financial processes such as GL, AP, AR and Asset Accounting, and drive migrations with cross-functional integration.

The role requires 8–15 years in SAP FI with at least two end-to-end implementations. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential; CA/ICWA/MBA Finance or BE/B.Tech with finance exposure are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of deep functional SAP FI experience
• Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP FI implementations in S/4HANA
• Strong knowledge of Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting and Document Splitting
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills; consulting experience preferred

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• - Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP FI modules within S/4HANA Finance environments.
• - Conduct blueprinting workshops, gather business requirements, and map core financial processes including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA).
• - Drive S/4HANA brownfield migrations or greenfield implementations, ensuring seamless integration with cross-functional modules (CO, SD, MM).
• - Design custom solutions, write functional specifications, and collaborate closely with ABAP developers for technical delivery.
• - Act as a trusted advisor to global stakeholders, troubleshooting complex transactional issues and providing expert functional guidance.

Preferred candidate profile

• - Must have 8 to 15 years of deep functional experience in SAP FI with a minimum of 2 end-to-end implementation lifecycles.
• - Proven hands-on configuration expertise in S/4HANA Finance architectures (Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting, and Document Splitting).
• - Prior experience working with Tier-1 consulting firms or large-scale global system integrators is highly preferred.
• - Strong educational background in finance, such as Chartered Accountant (CA), ICWA/CMA, MBA (Finance), or B.E./B.Tech with strong domain exposure.
• - Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing stakeholder management skills.
• - SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting certification will be a distinct advantage.
