Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide L1–L3 SAP EWM application support across multiple sites.
• Manage incidents, requests, problems, and changes via ServiceNow.
• Troubleshoot production issues within SLA and coordinate RCA.
• Support inbound, putaway, production staging, picking, packing, outbound shipping, and inventory management.
• Coordinate with infrastructure during maintenance and release activities.
• Support RF devices and warehouse mobility solutions.

SAP EWM Consultant :- Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM AMS Consultant to provide end-to-end Application Maintenance and Support (AMS) services for a complex global warehouse landscape spanning North America and Europe. The consultant will be responsible for supporting SAP EWM 9.4 and SAP S/4HANA EWM 2023 environments, ensuring stable warehouse operations across multiple factories and distribution centers through effective incident management, problem resolution, monitoring, change management, and continuous service improvement. The role requires strong functional and technical expertise in SAP EWM, excellent troubleshooting abilities, integration knowledge, and the capability to support a 24x7x365 global business environment.

Experience Requirements

• 5 -12+ years of SAP EWM support experience.
• Proven experience in AMS environments supporting global warehouse operations.
• Experience supporting multi-site factories and distribution centers.
• Hands-on experience in SAP EWM 9.4 and SAP S/4HANA EWM.
• Strong exposure to warehouse automation and integration technologies.
• Experience handling production support, deployments, testing, and RCA activities.
• Demonstrated experience in SLA-driven support environments.

Key Responsibilities

Application Support & Incident Management

• Provide L1, L2, and L3 support for SAP EWM apps across multiple warehouse sites.
• Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and changes through ServiceNow.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues within agreed SLA timelines.
• Support business-critical warehouse operations including:
• Inbound processing; Putaway ; Production staging and receiving
• Picking and packing ; Outbound shipping ; Inventory management
• Cycle counting ; Cross-docking ;Loading and yard processes
• Quality management ; Value Added Services (VAS)

Monitoring & Operational Support

• Perform proactive application monitoring and resolution of EMS alerts.
• Monitor interfaces, queues, and background jobs.
• Reprocess failed queues and integration messages after maintenance windows.
• Support RF device troubleshooting and warehouse mobility solutions.
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams during planned maintenance activities.

Change & Release Management

• Support deployment activities across Dev, QA, RT, and Production environments.
• Participate in release planning, deployment validation, and post-release support.
• Execute regression testing for projects, enhancements, bug fixes, and patches.
• Perform liberation testing after release deployment windows.
• Ensure successful change implementation with zero rollback incidents.

Integration Support

• Support and monitor integrations between SAP EWM and: SAP ECC/S4 systems; SAP OTM ; Traceability Cockpit ; PLC systems ; ASRS systems ;AGVs ; TGW automation solutions ; External third-party logistics applications

Problem Management & Continuous Improvement

• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents.
• Maintain Known Error Database (KEDB) and knowledge articles.
• Drive incident reduction initiatives and service improvement opportunities.
• Participate in proactive monitoring and AI-enabled service management initiatives.

Documentation & Compliance

• Create and maintain: FS, TS , SOPs , Test cases , evidences , RCA & KBA .
• Support audit, compliance, and access management activities.
• Ensure documentation remains current and aligned with operational procedures.

Governance & Stakeholder Management

• Participate in daily operational reviews and status meetings.
• Provide weekly service status updates.
• Support Monthly Service Reviews (MSR), QBR’s and Audit activities.
• Engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
