Qualifications

Responsibilities

Lead SAP EPPM solution design and architecture discussions with business stakeholders.
Conduct workshops and gather requirements for project portfolio and project management.
Design and configure SAP EPPM components: Portfolio, Project, Resource, CPM, and SAP PS.
Define project structures: Portfolio Items, Initiatives, Projects, WBS, Networks, Activities.
Configure budgeting, planning, forecasting, and cost control processes.
Design governance, approval workflows, and stage-gate processes.
Integrate SAP EPPM with SAP FI/CO, MM, PM/EAM, HCM/SFS, SAC, and BW/4HANA.
Support project accounting, capitalization, settlement, and revenue recognition.
Lead fit-gap analyses and recommend best-practice SAP solutions.
Prepare functional specs and work with development teams on enhancements.
Support SIT, UAT, defect management; drive data migration; provide cutover and hypercare.
Mentor junior consultants and provide functional leadership.

Job description

Lead SAP EPPM solution design and architecture discussions with business stakeholders
Conduct business process workshops and gather requirements for project portfolio and project management functions
Design and configure SAP EPPM components, including Portfolio Management, Project Management, Resource Management, Commercial Project Management, and SAP Project System
Define project structures including Portfolio Items, Initiatives, Projects, WBS Elements, Networks, and Activities
Configure project budgeting, planning, forecasting, and cost control processes
Design project governance, approval workflows, and stage-gate processes
Integrate SAP EPPM with SAP Finance, Asset Accounting, Procurement, Human Resources, Plant Maintenance, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP BW/4HANA
Support project accounting, capitalization, settlement, and revenue recognition processes
Lead fit-gap analysis and recommend SAP best-practice solutions
Prepare functional specifications and work with development teams on custom enhancements
Support SIT, UAT, and defect-management activities
Drive data migration for project master data, WBS structures, budgets, and project transactions
Provide cutover planning and hypercare support during go-live
Mentor junior consultants and provide functional leadership

Requirements

8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP EPPM/PS solutions
At least 2–3 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation programs
Experience in large-scale global SAP S/4HANA transformation programs
Experience in Manufacturing, Aerospace, MRO, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Retail, or Consumer Products industries
Experience leading global template design and rollout programs
Experience working with multinational clients and distributed teams
Exposure to SAP RISE and cloud transformation programs
Expertise in SAP EPPM, SAP Project System (PS), portfolio and project management, resource management, budgeting and cost planning, project financial management, capital investment management, project settlement and revenue recognition
SAP S/4HANA Project Management capabilities, SAP Fiori applications for EPPM, Universal Journal integration, and embedded analytics
Integration knowledge of SAP FI/CO, SAP MM, SAP PM/EAM, SAP HCM/SuccessFactors, SAP Asset Accounting, SAP SAC, and reporting solutions
Knowledge of SAP Fiori Apps and Launchpad, workflow management, CDS Views, embedded analytics, data migration, and data validation
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field is listed as preferred
SAP EPPM / SAP PS certification is preferred
Experience in Capital Projects, Engineering & Construction, Aerospace & Defense, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, or Utilities industries is preferred
Experience working in global SAP transformation programs is preferred
