Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking an SAP EHS and GLM Specialist for its Mumbai operations. The role requires hands-on experience in SAP EHS Product Safety, GLM configuration, SDS authoring, and regulatory reporting across global standards.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex SAP EHS/GLM solutions, manage testing and deployments, and train users while ensuring data accuracy and regulatory adherence across regions.

Qualifications

• Configure SAP EHS Product Safety and Global Label Management functions.
• Design and maintain label templates for products and hazardous materials.
• Oversee SDS generation and regulatory reporting processes.
• Coordinate SAP EHS/MM/SD/PLM integration activities.
• Prepare functional specs and support developments and enhancements.
• Execute SIT/UAT and production deployments, investigate incidents, provide L2/L3 support.
• Provide user training and create documentation; drive process improvements.

SAP EHS and GLM Specialist

Job Requirements

• Demonstrated hands‑on experience in SAP EHS and GLM implementation, support, enhancement, and rollout projects, with the depth of expertise required to independently deliver complex solutions.
• Strong experience in SAP EHS Product Safety and Dangerous Goods Management.
• Experience in SAP Global Label Management (GLM) configuration, WWI template development (coding), label generation, and template management.
• Knowledge of Safety Data Sheet (SDS) authoring and regulatory compliance processes.
• Experience working with global regulatory requirements such as GHS, REACH, OSHA, CLP, and Hazard Communication standards.
• Understanding of EHS integration with SAP MM, SD, PLM, and S/4HANA environments.
• Ability to gather business requirements and prepare functional specifications.
• Experience in testing, defect management, change requests, and production support activities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience working with cross‑functional business and regulatory teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user training, create documentation, and support continuous process improvements.
• Collaborate with business users, compliance teams, and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and regulatory adherence.
