Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking an SAP EDI Onboarding Consultant in Chennai to lead EDI partner onboarding, mapping, testing, and production support. The role covers B2B and 3PL integrations using SAP PI/PO, with CPI knowledge a plus.

You will work on EDI standards like ANSI X12, EDIFACT, Tradacoms, GS1, and coordinate end-to-end testing with business teams and 3PL partners. Strong expertise in IDOC, ALE, Partner Profiles, distribution models, and SAP ECC/PI/PO is required to drive complex integrations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in EDI partner onboarding, mapping, testing, and production support.
• Proficient in B2B and 3PL integrations using SAP PI/PO; CPI knowledge is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of EDI standards: ANSI X12, EDIFACT, Tradacoms, GS1.
• Experience analyzing EDI specs, building mappings, and coordinating end-to-end testing with partners.
• Deep SAP ECC ERP and SAP PI/PO integration experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot end-to-end integration issues with customers and teams.

Experience

6 - 8+ Years (preferred)

Key Requirements

• Hands‑on experience in EDI partner onboarding, customer/distributor mapping, testing, and production support.


• Expertise in B2B and 3PL integrations using SAP PI/PO (CPI knowledge is a plus).


• Good understanding of EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, Tradacoms, and GS1.


• Experience in analyzing customer EDI specifications, building specifications performing mappings, and coordinating E2E testing with Business and 3PL partners.


• Strong knowledge of IDOCs, ALE, Partner Profiles, Distribution Models, and SAP integration architecture.


• Experience in complex PI/PO mappings using UDFs, Java/XSLT mappings, and scripting.


• Hands‑on experience with adapters including AS2, SFTP, SOAP, RFC, and IDOC.


• Ability to troubleshoot end-to-end integration issues and interact with external customers and business teams.


• Strong experience in SAP ECC ERP and SAP PI/PO integration projects and support.

Preferred Skills

• Functional knowledge of SAP SD, SCM modules.
