LTI Mindtree is seeking an experienced SAP CPI Consultant to join our team on a Pan India basis. The role requires 8+ years of SAP integration experience and hands-on CPI expertise to design, develop, and support integration between SAP and non-SAP systems.

The ideal candidate will implement iFlows, work with REST/SOAP/OData adapters, and ensure secure, scalable solutions. This hybrid position offers collaboration with global teams and continuous improvement of integration processes.

Responsibilities

Job Description SAP CPI Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) Consultant with 8+ years of overall SAP integration experience and strong hands-on expertise in SAP CPI/Integration Suite. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and deploy integration flows using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
• Develop and maintain iFlows using appropriate integration patterns and adapters.
• Integrate SAP systems such as S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, SAP IBP and other SAP applications with third-party systems.
• Work with adapters including HTTP, SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, IDoc, RFC, JDBC, AS2 and other relevant adapters.
• Implement message transformations using Message Mapping, Groovy Script, XSLT and standard CPI capabilities.
• Develop error-handling, exception-subprocess, retry, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms.
• Configure security artifacts, credentials, certificates, keys, and secure communication mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot integration failures and perform root-cause analysis.
• Monitor deployed integration flows and resolve production issues within agreed SLAs.
• Support performance optimization and improve integration reliability.
• Participate in technical discussions with functional teams, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Prepare technical documentation, integration specifications, and deployment-related documentation.
• Follow development, testing, transport, and release-management processes.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP CPI / SAP Cloud Integration.
• 8+ years of relevant SAP/integration experience.
• Strong knowledge of iFlow development and integration patterns.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, OData, HTTP, SFTP, IDoc and JDBC integrations.
• Good understanding of JSON, XML, XSD, WSDL and data transformation.
• Strong experience with Groovy scripting in SAP CPI.
• Experience with message mapping and content modifiers.
• Good understanding of exception handling and integration monitoring.
• Experience troubleshooting production integration issues.Knowledge of authentication and security mechanisms such as OAuth, Basic Authentication, certificates and SSH keys.
• Good understanding of SAP integration architecture and best practices.

Good to Have

• Experience with SAP Integration Suite components.
• Exposure to SAP API Management and API integration.
• Experience integrating SAP SuccessFactors, Ariba, S/4HANA or ECC.
• Knowledge of BTP services.
• Experience with CI/CD or integration deployment automation.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• SAP CPI/Integration Suite certification.

Candidate Profile
