Job summary

Black Box Ltd. is seeking an experienced SAP EAM/PM consultant for a US-based SAP S/4HANA implementation project. The role requires hands-on SAP EAM expertise, with experience in S/4HANA Public Cloud (GROW) and RISE with SAP, ideally within mining, metals, or heavy manufacturing sectors.

Strong English proficiency is essential. Travel to the USA will be required; work location in Mumbai or Hyderabad, India, with on-site deployment and cross-border collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years SAP EAM/PM functional experience.
• Hands-on implementation in S/4HANA Public Cloud or Private Cloud.
• Experience in two end-to-end SAP implementations, preferably including S/4HANA Cloud.

Job Description - SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Consultant

1. Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP EAM / Plant Maintenance Consultant for the Mesabi Metallics SAP S/4HANA implementation project in the USA.

The candidate should have strong functional expertise in SAP Enterprise Asset Management, with hands-on implementation experience in SAP GROW S/4HANA Public Cloud and SAP RISE S/4HANA Private Cloud, preferably within mining, metals, manufacturing, or heavy engineering industries.

Advantage if Consultant has additional working experience in Refinery Setup.

Proficiency in English is Must.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP EAM / PM implementation, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
• Conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops and business requirement discussions.
• Configure Functional Locations, Equipment Masters, Maintenance Plans, Task Lists, Maintenance Notifications, and Work Orders.
• Implement Preventive, Corrective, Breakdown, and Condition-Based Maintenance processes.
• Support asset lifecycle management, maintenance scheduling, and equipment history tracking.
• Integrate SAP EAM with MM, FICO, PS, and Production Planning modules.
• Support master data migration, data validation, and cutover activities.
• Prepare functional specifications, business process documentation, and configuration documents.
• Conduct Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT, and end-user training.
• Support go-live, hypercare, and post-implementation stabilization.
• Coordinate with onsite US business stakeholders and offshore implementation teams.

3. Required Skills & Experience

• 5-8 years of SAP EAM / PM functional experience.
• Hands-on implementation experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (GROW with SAP) and Private Cloud (RISE with SAP).
• Experience in at least two end-to-end SAP implementations, preferably including S/4HANA Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of SAP EAM configuration and integration with other SAP modules.
• Understanding of maintenance processes for mining equipment, conveyors, crushers, beneficiation plants, and industrial machinery.
• Experience with SAP Fiori applications, SAP Activate methodology, and Fit-to-Standard workshops.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to independently manage functional deliverables and interact with international clients.

4. Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• SAP S/4HANA EAM / Asset Management certification preferred.
• Valid US B1 or H1B visa will be an added advantage.

5. Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates with implementation experience in the following industries will be preferred:

6. Employment & Deployment

Work Location: Mumbai or Hyderabad

Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel to the USA for project workshops, implementation, testing, and go-live support, subject to business requirements and appropriate visa/work authorization.

Preferred Candidate: A technically strong, hands-on SAP EAM Consultant capable of independently managing implementation activities, collaborating with business users, and supporting an accelerated SAP S/4HANA implementation.
