Job summary

Valtech is seeking a SAP Commerce Cloud Developer for its Bengaluru office. You will develop and customize SAP Commerce Cloud applications, build headless storefronts with Spartacus, and integrate with backend systems.

Join a fast-paced, Agile team, collaborate with product owners, BAs, and QA, and contribute to end-to-end e-commerce solutions across SAP platforms.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of hands-on SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (J2EE), Spring, Hibernate.
• Deep knowledge of SAP Commerce data models, extension framework, Impex, FlexibleSearch, Backoffice, and WCMS.
• Experience with Spartacus (Angular) and traditional SAP Commerce frontend.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, OData and middleware integrations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and extend SAP Commerce Cloud applications.
• Build headless storefronts using Spartacus and integrate via REST/OData.
• Write and maintain Impex scripts and FlexibleSearch queries.
• Design integrations between SAP Commerce and backend systems (S/4HANA, ERP).
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot in SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2).
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies; collaborate with PO, BA, QA.
• Conduct peer reviews, write unit tests, and ensure best practices.
• Provide L3 support and performance tuning; troubleshoot production issues.

SAP Commerce/Hybris-Developer at Valtech

Valtech is an experience innovation company hiring a SAP Commerce Cloud Developer for their Bengaluru office. This role involves developing and customizing SAP Commerce Cloud applications, building headless storefronts, and integrating with backend systems.

• Develop, customize, and extend SAP Commerce Cloud applications using Java, Spring Framework, and SAP-specific extensions.
• Build and maintain headless storefronts using Spartacus (Angular/TypeScript) and integrate them via REST/OData APIs.
• Write and maintain complex Impex scripts, FlexibleSearch queries, and manage Backoffice configurations.
• Design and implement integrations between SAP Commerce Cloud and backend systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP CI/CPI, OMS, Payment Gateways, PIM).
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications in SAP Commerce Cloud (CCv2) using Merchant Center / Cloud Portal and HAC.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and QA teams.
• Conduct peer code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Provide L3 support, perform performance tuning, and troubleshoot production issues.
• 4-6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (J2EE), Spring Framework, Hibernate, and object-oriented design.
• Deep understanding of SAP Commerce data models, extension framework, Impex, FlexibleSearch, Backoffice, and WCMS (SmartEdit).
• Experience with SAP Commerce B2B and/or B2C Accelerators.
• Solid experience with Spartacus (Angular) or traditional SAP Commerce frontend (JSP/Tag files, AngularJS).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, OData, and integration middleware (SAP Cloud Integration / CPI is a strong plus).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., SAP HANA, MySQL, Oracle).
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• SAP certifications (SAP Commerce Cloud / Hybris).
• Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI/CI).
• Knowledge of additional frontend frameworks or e-commerce solutions.
